Mount St. Joseph (D-III – OH): Mount St. Joseph has taken the interim tag off head coach Tyler Hopperton. Hopperton was named interim head coach on March 9 and led the club to a 2-2 start.

John Chavis: Chief’s lawsuit with LSU has been dismissed, according to Ross Dellenger of The Baton Rouge Advocate. Details of any presumed settlement were not released.

Charlotte: The 49ers, off to an 0-4 start, have made a change within their staff. Head coach Brad Lambert has taken play calling duties away from Jeff Mullen and promoted offensive line coach Greg Adkins to OC. Mullen will continue to coach the quarterbacks. In three games against FBS foes this season the 49ers have scored just 14 points.

South Alabama: Offensive coordinator Bryant Vincent has been relieved of duties effective immediately. Vincent and head coach Joey Jones said in a release that this was a mutual decision.

Glenville State (D-II – WV): Per source, defensive backs coach Roosevelt Williams is no longer with the program.

Newberry (D-II – SC): Newberry College is seeking a FCS guarantee game for the 2018 season. We have an opening on the 1st, 8th, and 15th in September. We are mainly looking for Southeastern foes but would consider greater distance opponent’s under the right conditions. Interested programs can contact Adonis Hentz at [email protected].
