Abilene Christian (FCS – TX): ACU has switched up a number of staff roles. Offensive coordinator Nathan Young has moved to tight ends and H-backs. Steven Thrash has moved to wide receivers and former Wildcat Rodney Freeman has been hired to coach the running backs.
Georgia State: Tony Samuel will join the staff as outside linebackers coach according to SI. We can confirm. Also, we understand that head coach Trent Miles will now work with the running backs.
Bowdoin (D-III – ME): Bowdoin College is now accepting applications for an assistant football coach. FAU: According to a report from Mike Lubitz of 940 WINZ AM, former FAU running backs coach Roger Harriott, who stepped down from the post in early February, will be the new head coach at St. Thomas Aquinas (FL). After stepping away, Harriott stated very publicly that he resigned at FAU in an effort to focus on his family, including his parents who live in his native Jamaica & their business, and would not be coaching this year.

East Mississippi (CC): Former Florida State and West Virginia quarterback Clint Trickett is joining the East Mississippi staff as quarterbacks coach. Fox Sports initially reported and we can confirm.
Rick Neuheisel: Former Washington and UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel is joining the CBS Sports studio team as a college football analyst. Neuheisel will serve as an analyst on the CBS Network’s pre-game show, College Football Today show, as well as the Inside College Football roundtable show.
James Madison (FCS – VA): Per source, Zak Kuhr is adding the title of co-offensive coordinator – run game and John Streicher is being promoted to director of football operations & player personnel.
Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State is looking for an offensive graduate assistant (wide receivers) in a spread/ no-huddle/ fast tempo offense. UTPB: Texas Permian Basin head coach Justin Carrigan is hiring Scott Preston as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks, per source. Preston, who coached the quarterbacks for Hal Mumme at Belhaven last season, is the former offensive coordinator at Arkansas Tech.
LSU: Former LSU cornerback Chevis Jackson will join the staff as an analyst according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Georgia Tech: Shorter University offensive line coach Blake DeBartalo has accepted a GA spot at Georgia Tech.
Portland State (FCS): Per source, former Boise State and Washington grad assistant Ben Thienes will take the linebackers job at Portland State.
Florida International: Former South Florida, Tampa Bay Bucs, LSU and South Carolina (among others) defensive backs coach Ron Cooper has been named the defensive backs coach at FIU.
Wisconsin: As expected, John Settle has now been announced as the new running backs coach. Settle coached the running backs under Paul Chryst at Pitt and coached at Wisconsin from 2006-2010 while Chryst was the Badgers offensive coordinator.
Point University (NAIA – GA): Per source, West Alabama (D-II) receivers coach / director of football ops Michael McCarty will be the new head coach.
Benedictine (D-III – IL): Per source, Lakeland College (D-III – WI) head coach Kevin Doherty has resigned to become the offensive coordinator / director of football operations at Benedictine. At Lakeland, Doherty was 36-18 in conference play and was a three-time conference coach of the year.
Texas State: Per source, Birmingham Southern (D-III – AL) offensive line coach Adam Hollifield is heading to Texas State as a defensive grad assistant.
Susquehanna (D-III – PA): Susquehanna University is looking to hire two assistant coaches (WRs and assistant LBs). Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing or coaching. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. Arizona State: Senior associate head coach Paul Randolph is “making a career change and moving into an administrative role in the Sun Devils Athletics Department” and Todd Graham has hired Shawn Slocum as associate head coach / special teams coordinator / outside linebackers. Slocum, RC’s son, coached the special teams for the Green Bay Packers for the last nine seasons. Randolph’s new title will be associate athletic director for championship life.
William and Mary (FCS – VA): Marvin Clecidor has now been announced as the defensive backs coach, Trey Henderson will oversee all of the defensive secondary and will continue to serve as recruiting coordinator, and Joe Brady will now serve as video coordinator and will continue to work with the Tribe linebackers.
Oregon State: Gary Andersen has announced that inside linebackers coach Ilaisa Tuiaki has added special teams coordinator duties.
Eastern Illinois: Mark Hutson, who served as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach at EIU from 2003-2005 and as interim head coach in 2006, has returned to the program as offensive line coach. Hutson spent the last three years as an assistant with the Oakland Raiders.
Southwest Baptist University (D-II – MO): Southwest Baptist University is looking to fill one open date on 11-7-15. We will play FCS, D2 or an NAIA school to fill this date. Morehead State (FCS – KY): John Perin has been hired to coach the defensive backs and special teams at Morehead State. Perin spent last season as a grad assistant at Eastern Michigan, and the year before that as the defensive coordinator at Capital (D-III – OH).
Montana Tech (NAIA): Montana Tech has an immediate opening for an offensive line coach. This is a fulltime 10 month contract position, with benefits. Primary responsibilities include coaching the offensive line, and assisting the head coach in all phases of the football program. Other responsibilities include assisting the offensive coordinator with run game planning, recruiting a specific region, and film editing. Holdovers from Larry Blakeney’s staff include co-offensive coordinator Kenny Edenfield ($116,699), associate head coach Shayne Wasden ($115,961), cornerbacks coach Al Pogue ($90,000) and quarterbacks/running backs coach Sean Reagan ($88,818).
Yale: Yale is expected to name former Boston College linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Sean McGowan as defensive coordinator and Maine defensive line coach Jordan Stevens as its defensive line coach according to the New Haven Register.
Nebraska: New defensive backs coach Brian Stewart will earn $400,000 in 2015 and $425,000 in 2016 according to the Lincoln Journal-Star.
Hobart College (D-III – NY): Quarterbacks coach Jon Drach has been promoted to offensive coordinator.
Washington Redskins: AJ Smith, who has spent the past two seasons with the Redskins as a senior exectutive, has announced that he will be retiring. Smith spent 2003-2012 as the GM of the San Diego Chargers.
Harvard University (FCS – MA): Harvard University has a Defensive Assistant position open. Previous collegiate coaching experience is preferred and working with XOS software is a plus. The position will include on the field coaching (working with defensive position group and special teams), recruiting your own territory, breaking down opposing offenses, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Defensive Coordinator.
