Ferris State (D-II): Sources tell FootballScoop that quarterbacks coach / run game coordinator Dan Rohn has earned a promotion to assistant head coach. Rohn enters his second season on Tony Annese’s staff and previously served as the head coach at Grand Rapids West Catholic HS (MI), where he led the team to four state titles.
IUP: University of Charleston offensive coordinator Tate Gregory has accepted the same role at IUP, source tells FootballScoop.
Arkansas Tech (D-II): Delta State defensive coordinator Raleigh Jackson plans to return to Arkansas Tech (he previously coached there for three seasons) as co-defensive coordinator, source tells FootballScoop.
Syracuse: Edinboro (D-II – PA) head coach Justin Lustig plans to accept the special teams coordinator / running backs job at Syracuse, source tells FootballScoop. Prior to taking over as head coach at Edinboro, Lustig had served as special teams coordinator at Ball State. Lustig took over an 0-11 team and went 9-2 in his one season as head coach at Edinboro and was subsequently named D2Football’s coach of the year.

Manchester (D-III – IN): Manchester is looking to add an assistant coach on the defensive side of the ball. This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position that will pay $21k. Secondary job functions of the coach will be to teach up to 2 credits in the ESAT department, game day management responsibilities, coordinate team service projects, and coordinate team fundraising efforts. Western Illinois (FCS): Tony Grantham, who spent last season coaching the linebackers at Louisville, is joining the staff as defensive coordinator and secondary coach and Deion Melvin, who spent the past six seasons coaching at Lindenwood, will coach the Leatherneck inside linebackers. In addition, quarterbacks coach / assistant head coach Jared Elliott is being elevated to co-offensive coordinator (a title he’ll share with tight ends coach Doug Malone), Ben Hodges will move to outside linebackers and continue to serve as special teams coordinator, and offensive line coach Ty Howle is taking over as recruiting coordinator.

Louisville: Defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon will coach the outside linebackers, Cort Dennison has moved from assistant defensive backs coach to inside linebackers, Lorenzo Ward will now handle the defensive backs on his own, and LD Scott will continue to coach the defensive line.
Albany (FCS – NY): Head coach Greg Gattuso has announced the additions of Bill Hurley (WRs), Will Fiacchi (offensive assistant) and Bill Nesselt (defensive assistant). In addition, Gattuso is also rearranging his current staff a bit, with Nate Byham now working as tight ends coach and special teams coordinator, Keith Dudzinski will be the assistant head coach and coach the safeties, and Dave Plungas will serve as the outside linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator.

Kentucky: Mark Stoops has signed an extension through 2022. We break it down here.
Texas A&M: Tyrone Nix, a longtime defensive coordinator with stops at Middle Tennessee State, Ole MIss, South Carolina, and Southern Miss, has joined the staff as a senior analyst.
Eastern Illinois (FCS): EIU head coach Kim Dameron has completed his coaching staff for the upcoming season. Cary Fowler was recently hired as the defensive coordinator after spending last season as the DC at Howard Payne (D-III – TX) and six years prior to that as the head coach at Tarleton State (D-II – TX). Kwahn Drake was hired as the defensive line coach after spending last season as an offensive analyst at Memphis. Alvah Hansbro has been hired as the defensive backs coach after spending last season coaching the corners at Maine and and Matt Wright, from ULM, has been hired as the director of football operations.
Toledo: Head coach Jason Candle, who went 9-4 in his first full season leading the program, has signed a contract extension through 2021.
South Dakota State (FCS): Offensive line coach Jason Eck has been promoted to run game coordinator.
Central Michigan: Defensive backs coach Archie Collins has added the title of defensive passing game coordinator.
North Texas: Offensive coordinator Graham Harrell has received a $10k raise to $235k annually, defensive coordinator Troy Reffett has got a $55k bump to $215k per year, per the Denton Record-Chronicle. A number of other assistants have also earned raises according to the report, including wide receivers coach Joel Filani (a $10k raise to $110k), corners coach Nate Brown ($15k increase to $95k annually), and head strength coach Zack Womack also got a significant $30k bump to bring his annual salary to $120k. New special teams coordinator Marty Biagi will make $130k.
LA Valley (JC – CA): Los Angeles Valley College has an opening for a Co-Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach. This is a stipend only position that offers no housing or meals and will be considered a volunteer position for spring/summer practices. All candidates must submit a three to five minute video detailing run scheme, blocking assignments, pass protections and calls. Local candidates are encouraged to apply. Additional material in a coaching portfolio may be submitted as well. LA Valley College is located in Valley Glen, CA and is coming off an 11-0 season in 2016. Greensboro College (D-III – NC): Greensboro College is looking for a defensive backs coach. This is an intern position that includes housing, meals, and a small stipend. Responsibilities will include coaching defensive backs, film breakdown, game planning, practice planning, recruiting, and other responsibilities designated by the head coach.
