Carleton (D-III – MN): Wisconsin-Stevens Point (D-III) head coach Tom Journell has accepted the head coaching job at Carleton. Journell has led the UWSP program since 2012, and previously served as the head coach at Elmhurst (D-III – IL) from 2004-2007. Journell went 29-31 the past six seasons at UWSP.

Charleston (D-II – WV): Per source, former Akron defensive graduate assistant Nick Verna is joining the staff as wide receivers coach.

Urbana (D-II -OH): Urbana University seeks applicants for the full-time defensive coordinator position. This position will be responsible for other duties as assigned by the head coach, with a start date as soon as possible.  Previous collegiate defensive coordinator experience is preferred.  Interested applicants should send their resume, cover letter, and references to head coach Tyler Haines at [email protected].

Birmingham Southern (D-III – AL): Jacksonville State (FCS – AL) graduate assistant Tyler Robinson has been hired to coach the wide receivers.

Texas College (NAIA): Texas College is looking for a home game on either Sept. 1st or Sept. 8th 2018. We are looking for a home and home contest with the team coming to Texas College for the first year. We are considering D-3 and NAIA programs.
