    Florida A&M (FCS): Head coach Alex Wood has formally announced the hirings of Martin Spieler (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Theo Lemon (defensive coordinator/defensive line), Richard Solomon (defensive backs), Donald McCarthy (wide receivers) and Dennis R. Smith (tight ends/special teams). Offensive line coach Edwin Pata has been retained.

    Washington Redskins: Washington has hired Perry Fewell as defensive backs coach and Mike Clark as strength coach.

    Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags have hired Kelly Skipper as running backs coach according to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.

    Texas Tech: Defensive coordinator David Gibbs will earn $550,000 annually as part of a two-year deal, per the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. While there is no buyout if he leaves for a head coaching job, or NFL job, Gibbs would owe $200,000 if he leaves for another Big 12 job, or $25,000 for an assistant coaching job outside of the Big 12.

    San Francisco 49ers: Philadelphia Eagles receivers coach Bob Bicknell is among the candidates for the open offensive coordinator job according to Albert Breer. Also, the Sacramento Bee is reporting that former Niners defensive lineman Aubrayo Franklin will join the staff as a defensive assistant.

    Washington State: The school has announced that Eric Mele will be the team’s full-time special teams coordinator and that Brian Odom has been hired to a defensive quality control position. Mele was elevated to Wazzu’s interim special teams coordinator midway through the 2014 season after coming aboard as an offensive QC assistant.

    San Francisco 49ers: Former East Carolina head coach Steve Logan will reportedly join the 49ers offensive staff per Matt Maioccco who covers the team. Logan’s position is not known at the time. Logan’s last coaching position was with the Bucs in 2011 when he served as running backs coach. He was Tomsula’s offensive coordinator when they were with the Rhein Fire back in 2006.

    Dakota State University (NAIA – SD): Dakota State University is looking for a defensive coordinator. Previous college playing experience, previous coordinating and experience coaching defensive backs is preferred. Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred.     New Mexico State: Eastern New Mexico defensive coordinator Oliver Soukup is joining the staff, per source. We had heard as defensive coordinator but now hear possibly as coaching the linebackers with Zane Vance taking over the coordinator duties. Will update once roles are clear.

    Earlham (D-III – IN): Per source, former defensive coordinator Nick Johnson will be the new head coach at Earlham. Johnson is currently serving as the head track and field coach at the college.

    Ventura College (CC – CA): Ventura College has an assistant opening attached to a full-time Kinesiology instructor vacancy. Must have Masters degree in Kinesiology or related subject. The position is geared toward a candidate with offensive Coordinator experience, tremendous organization and leadership ability. Interested applicants can apply via this link. No phone calls please.

    Kent State: Per source, Mark Spencer will be Kent State’s new running backs coach. The move was first reported by SI.

    Albany: Head coach Greg Gattuso has announced a number of adjustments to his staff. Among the additions to the staff for 2015 are Jay Foster (DBs), Nate Byham (TEs), and Dave Plungas (defensive assistant). Defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Bernard Clark has added the title of associate head coach, Aaron Smith has added pass game coordinator responsibilities, former director of operations Jeff Ditman has been promoted to special teams coordinator, and Harry Traylor moves into the director of operations role.

    NY Jets: The Jets and new head coach Todd Bowles have now formally announced the additions of Steve Marshall (OL), Kevin Patullo (QBs) and Marcel Shipp (RBs). The rest of his staff is as follows; Chan Gailey (OC), Kacy Rodgers (DC), Bobby April (STC), Pepper Johnson (DL), Mike Caldwell (ILBs), Mark Collins (OLBs), Joe Danna (DBs), Karl Dorrell (WRs).

    Chowan (D-II – NC): Chowan has an immediate opening for an assistant coach (LBs). This is a full-time (12-month) position that will report to the head football coach and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the University’s intercollegiate football program. Preferences include collegiate coaching experience (or other significant coaching experiences) working with linebackers and longsnappers, experience recruiting Southeastern states as well as video breakdown, analysis and editing with Hudl. Salary range is low to mid $30s with benefits and retirement. Start date will be as soon as possible. Bachelor degree required, Masters preferred.     Denver Broncos: Tight ends coach Clancy Barone has been moved to offensive line and former Texans and Bears linebackers coach Reggie Herring has been announced as linebackers coach.

    Chicago Bears: The Bears have announced they’ve reached an agreement with Clint Hurtt to coach outside linebackers. He was the team’s assistant defensive line coach in 2014.

    NY Jets: The Jets have named Brian Heimerdinger director of player personnel. Heimerdinger is 28 and one of the youngest known evaluators in that type of position according to Albert Breer.

    UC Davis: Per source, Winona State (D-II – MN) co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach David Braun is joining the UC Davis staff.

    Oakland: The Raiders have now announced the additions of Bobby Johnson (TEs), Rob Moore (WRs), Bernie Parmalee (RBs), and Tracy Smith (assistant special teams).

    Presentation (NAIA – SD): Head coach Andy Carr has added the title of assistant athletic director and Mike Budziszewski, who has spent the last three seasons as the offensive coordinator, has added the title of assistant head coach.

    Duke: David Cutcliffe has promoted graduate assistant Matt Guerrieri to a to-be-determined full-time assistant coaching position. Guerrieri has worked with Duke’s safeties for the past two seasons.

    Denver Broncos: The Broncos have agreed to terms with Reggie Herring to coach the team’s linebackers.

    Central College (D-III – IA): Central College is looking for an offensive coordinator. Must be able to serve as assistant coordinator for football summer camp activities, assist in fundraising, serve as event manager. Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred. Prefer four years of coaching experience with knowledge of pass game strategies and experience working with quarterbacks.     Indianapolis Colts: Rob Chudzinski has been named associate head coach with the Colts and they have extended his contract. Chud and Lane Kiffin had reportedly been the two names at the top of Jim Tomsula’s list for offensive coordinator of the 49ers.

    Lebanon Valley College (D-III – PA): Per source, Lebanon HS (PA) defensive coordinator Frank Isenberg will be the new offensive line coach.

    Baldwin Wallace (D-III – OH): Offensive line coach Ryan Crow has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

    UC Davis: Per source, Indiana University Pennsylvania (D-II) running backs coach / recruiting coordinator Jim Chapin has accepted the running backs job at UC Davis.

    NY Jets: According to the Tampa Bay Times, former Tennessee Titans assistant receivers coach Kevin Patullo will join the staff as quarterbacks coach.

    Denver Broncos: Wade Phillips is in Denver today to interview for the defensive coordinator job, according to Ed Werder.

    Toronto Argonauts (CFL): As we reported last Friday, the Argos have now officially named Jonathan Himebauch their new offensive line / assistant head coach.

    Kentucky: Per source, Mark Stoops plans to hire former Cal defensive coordinator Andy Buh to the staff. He will be one of the nine; but we haven’t heard final word on what role yet. Will update once more is clear.

    VMI: Per source, Christopher Newport defensive coordinator Justin Wood has joined the staff at VMI as inside linebackers coach.

    Tulsa: Per source, Houston Baptist corners coach Aaron Fletcher will join the staff at Tulsa in a similar capacity.

    Alabama: Former Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Mel Tucker will be Alabama’s new secondary coach and Kirby Smart will move to inside linebackers, per a report from SI. Tucker coached the LSU defensive backs under Nick Saban in 2000. This fills the last on-the-field opening on Saban’s staff.

    Buffalo Bills: The Bills have announced a number of additions and have officially named Aaron Kromer offensive line coach and Anthony Lynn assistant head coach / running backs coach. Chris Palmer has joined the staff as a senior offensive assistant, former NFL safety Michael Hamlin has been hired as the special teams quality control coach, receivers coach Sanjay Lal and defensive assistant D’Anton Lynn will follow Rex Ryan from the Jets. Also, assistant offensive line coach Kurt Anderson, defensive backs coach Donnie Henderson, outside linebackers coach Jason Rebrovich and offensive quality control coach Jason Vrable will all be retained.

    College Football Playoff: Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long has been re-elected to serve as Chairman of the College Football Playoff Selection Committee. Our story on the CFP’s scheduling dilemma.

    Denver Broncos: The organization has now announced Rick Dennison as their new offensive coordinator.

    Alabama: The Tide have now officially announced the promotion of Tosh Lupoi to linebackers coach.

    North Dakota State: Head coach Chris Klieman has agreed to a two-year contract extension keeping him with the Bison through January 2021.

    Ohio State: Jim Cordle, who played four years in the NFL with the Giants, has joined the staff as a grad assistant working with the offensive line.

    LSU: Kevin Steele will make $1 million per year in a two year deal per Ross Dellenger of The Advocate.

    Missouri: Despite the offer from Illinois Missouri has retained defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski (Dave Matter who covers Mizzou football for the St. Louis Post Dispatch notes the move likely comes with a nice raise for Kool). Kuligowski has released the following statement: “As a coach, you’re always looking to advance yourself professionally in hopes of someday having a chance to become a head coach. It was important for me and my family to consider this opportunity, and I’m grateful to have gone through the experience, but after evaluating everything, what is best for us is to stay here at Mizzou. We’ve built something special here at Mizzou, and I’m excited to continue to be part of it.”

    Indianapolis Colts: The Colts and running backs coach David Walker have “mutually agreed to part ways,” the team has announced.

    Anderson University (D-III  – IN): Anderson University in Anderson, IN is looking to schedule games (home and away) for the beginning Fall 2016 season. Prefer NCAA III teams. Contact assistant Coach Ethan Weisheit at erweisheit@anderson.edu if interested and for more information.

    Oakland Raiders: Former Syracuse and Buffalo Bills receivers coach Rob Moore has been hired to coach the receivers, per the San Jose Mercury News. Also, Bernie Parmalee (who previously coached the tight ends in Kansas City back in 2012) has been added as running backs coach, according to multiple reports. Also, per NBC’s Dianna Marie Russini, Louisville defensive coordinator Todd Grantham is meeting with the Raiders regarding their defensive coordinator position and she believes he is the favorite for the job.

    Tennessee: Butch Jones is close to making a hire for offensive coordinator. Hear what he had to say about it on FootballScoop radio last night.

    Marietta College (D-III – OH): Marietta College is seeking applications for a full-time entry level coaching position (offensive skill). It is a ten-month position (August to May). Playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Responsibilities will include: on field coaching, practice and game preparation, on road recruiting, video editing (Hudl), academic support, and other duties as assigned by head football coach and athletic director.     Atlanta Falcons: Denver linebackers coach Richard Smith “will likely be the defensive coordinator” for the Falcons and Raheem Morris’ title will be assistant head coach according to a report from Albert Breer.

    Chicago Bears: The Bears have hired Jay Rodgers as their defensive line coach. Rodgers spent the last six seasons on staff with the Broncos, coaching the defensive line the past three.

    Oakland Raiders: Detroit Lions assistant offensive line coach Bobby Johnson is joining the Oakland staff as tight ends coach according to SI.

    Northern Iowa (FCS): Shippensburg University (D-II – PA) offensive coordinator Joe Davis has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at Northern Iowa. Davis takes over for Mario Verduzco, who accepted the offensive coordinator job on Dave Steckel’s staff at Missouri State.

    Santa Ana College (CC – CA): Per source, linebackers coach Brian Wolf has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

    Alabama State: Former associate head coach / offensive line coach Antonio Bradford has been chosen to participate in the NFL-NCAA Coaching Academy.

    Deanza College (CC – CA): Per source, Roy Moody has been hired as the receivers coach and Anthony Snow has been added to coach the running backs.

    Alabama: Former UAB assistant head coach / running backs / recruiting coordinator Jody Wright is expected to be the new director of player personnel at Alabama per Andrew Bone. We can confirm the same.

    Illinois: Per source, Missouri defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski has been offered, and is expected to accept the co-defensive coordinator / defensive line position at Illinois. Kuligowski won the FootballScoop Defensive Line Coach of the Year just last month.

    Dick LeBeau: LeBeau will not be joining Bruce Arians’ staff in Arizona, per a report from Jim Wyatt.

    Central Michigan: Detroit Lions special teams coordinator John Bonamego has interviewed for the head coaching job, according to Hondo Carpenter. Bonamego is a 16 year veteran of the NFL coaching ranks, and played his college ball at CMU.

    Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons will name former assistant offensive line coach Wade Harman as their next tight ends coach, according to ESPN. Prior to joining the Falcons last season, Harman spent 15 seasons coaching the tight ends with the Ravens.

    Houston Texans: The Texans will hire former Syracuse and UConn head coach Paul Pasqualoni to coach their defensive line according to a report from the Houston Chronicle. Pasqualoni coached the defensive line for the Bears last season.

    NY Jets: Albert Breer is reporting that Chicago Bears national scout Rex Hogan is joining the organization as director of college scouting and that St. Louis Rams scout Brian Heimerdinger will join the Jets in a “prominent front office role”.

    Santa Ana College (CC – CA): Santa Ana College defensive coordinator Derrick Watkins has resigned.

    Texas A&M Commerce (D-II): Montiese Culton, who coaches the outside linebackers at Texas A&M Commerce, has been selected to participate in the 2015 NCAA – NFL Coaching Academy.

    Alabama: Defensive analyst Tosh Lupoi is expected to be promoted to outside linebackers coach according to Sports Illustrated.

    Chicago Bears: The Bears have named Bo Hardegree as an offensive assistant coach. He was an offensive QC for the Broncos in 2014.

    Alabama: The Tide has announced that Lane Kiffin will return to Alabama as offensive coordinator in 2015. “We’re very pleased and happy that Lane is going to be staying here at the University of Alabama with us,” said Nick Saban.

    Whittier College (D-III – CA): Whittier College is accepting resumes for the position of defensive coordinator. Must have previous defensive coordinator experience at the college level.
