Florida Atlantic: In response to yesterday’s non-story story, Lane Kiffin told ESPN’s Chris Low that Art Briles is not consulting with FAU, formally or informally (though he didn’t deny asking the elder Briles questions about the offense and FAU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles sending his dad film of the Owls’ spring game) and has not visited practice or spoken with the team.

South Carolina State: Jeff Fela, who has been an assistant at a number of schools including Cornell, is now coaching the offensive line at South Carolina State.

Saginaw Valley (D-II – MI): Tyson Silveus has been named linebackers coach, and running backs coach Dan Fodrocy and offensive line coach Mike Ancona have been named co-run game coordinators.

#ScholarshipAlert: Dabo Swinney rushes his walk on punter with a special note, with the kid’s father watching the special moment from the sideline.

Southern Miss vs. Liberty: Southern Miss will receive a $500,000 payout to play at Liberty in 2020, per Jason Munz. Liberty will not receive any payment for their return game in 2022.
