Idaho: Head coach Paul Petrino has signed an extension through June 30, 2022 that will pay him a base salary of $446,000, making him the highest-paid coach in the Big Sky Conference when the Vandals drop down next season, according to the Idaho Statesman. The contract triggers a 1-year extension for each season with at least eight wins. Petrino is in his fifth season at Idaho. He led the program to a 9-4 mark with a win in the Potato Bowl last season.
