Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop former 49ers personnel exec Tom Gamble is joining Jim Harbaugh’s staff at Michigan. Tim Kawakami first reported the move this morning.

Coastal Carolina: Head coach Joe Moglia will miss the annual Sun Belt Conference’s Media Days after doctors found a precancerous nodule on his trachea that required surgery, per multiple outlets. Associate head coach Jamey Chadwell will fill in. Moglia is not expected to miss any of camp, which begins next month.

King’s College (D-III – PA): King’s College has an immediate opening for a Full Time Offensive Line Coach with possible Coordinating responsibilities. This is a 12month position, oversee all aspects of the OL, assist w/ film breakdown, practice planning, scripting, and any other duties assigned by Head Coach. If qualified for coordinator responsibilities, will be in charge of entire Offense. Construct playbook, insertion schedule, plan and script all practices. Will be responsible for own recruiting area, must be proficient w/ hudl, vizio, and Microsoft office. Additional duty is supervision of our campus fitness center. Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for a part-time, seasonal Football Intern – Offensive Coach. This position will begin in August 2017 and run through December 2017. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the IWU Offensive Coordinator with implementing game plans, coaching of special teams and offensive positions (Offensive line preferred), film evaluation, conducting position meetings, attending team and coaching staff meetings, recruiting an assigned territory. Qualified applicants should be detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills, and having a solid understanding of the NCAA Division III is ideal. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive team vans. A Bachelor’s degree is required and playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred. Both positions include : coaching your position group, running positional meetings, creating positional manuals, assisting w/ film breakdown, practice planning, and game planning. Will be responsible for own recruiting area, must have a clean driving record. These are 10 month positions, stipend depends on experience. Morehead State (FCS – KY): Morehead State has an IMMEDIATE opening for a CB coach. Position includes coaching, recruiting, and administrative duties assigned by Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Marshall: Marshall University is looking to hire a video assistant immediately. This position will be for 10 months beginning ASAP and ending mid-May. The pay is $10,000 and housing is provided. This position requires working knowledge of XOS Thunder and other XOS software. This position will be responsible for the input and editing of coaches film for practice and games, as well as other daily tasks as needed. San Diego (FCS – CA): The University of San Diego is seeking applicants for the following positions: one defensive and one offensive intern. These are voluntary, unpaid internships with no graduate classes available. We are looking for self-motivated, detail oriented, problem solvers who can communicate effectively. Applicants should have experience with DVSport, Excel, JumpForward, Power Point, and Visio. One volunteer Operations/Recruiting intern. Applicants should have a strong desire to work in the front office of a football program. Applicants should have experience with various recruiting databases (Jumpforward a plus), Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Photoshop, as well as, experience using all social media platforms (i.e. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.). Video Coordinator: This is a paid position ($17,000/year; no benefits). Applicants should be computer savvy and have experience with DVSport, video editing software (i.e. FinalCut), filming football practice/games, knowledge and use of video equipment. Mansfield (Sprint – PA): Richard Conrad, a student assistant at Northwood (D-II – MI) the past four seasons, has accepted the offensive line / assistant recruiting coordinator job at Mansfield, per source.

St. Lawrence (D-III – NY): Keith Bruno has joined the staff coaching the defensive backs and also holds the title of recruiting coordinator. Bruno previously worked as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach at Albright (D-III – NY).

Hutchinson CC (JC – KS): Former Kansas State player Kody Cook has joined the staff and will coach the tight ends.

Occidental (D-III – CA): Doug Semones has retired from the head coaching position, and a search is underway for an interim head coach. Semones coached at a number of high schools from California to Hawaii, and even Idaho and Connecticut, as well as college stops at Yale, Hawaii, and Occidental.

Austin Peay (FCS – TN): Austin Peay State University is seeking 2 defensive graduate assistant, best candidate available. Responsibilities include assisting in practice preparation, game day duties, film, recruiting and other duties as assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Bachelor’s degree is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary. Coaching and playing experience preferred. Compensation for the positions include 1 Graduate School Tuition & 5200 stipend and 1 Graduate School tuition only position. Criteria is undergraduate GPA of a 3.0 and meet the minimum GRE revised General Test scores of: Verbal – 140, Quantitative – 140, and Analytical Writing – 2.5. Tennessee: Per source, Max Arnold Jr. has been hired as a quality control / defensive assistant. Arnold Jr. is a former Tennessee walk-on who went on to earn a full scholarship and letter for three years.

Ole Miss: Last night, Hugh Freeze resigned at Ole Miss, with some very surprising circumstances surrounding the decision.
