Cincinnati: Adam Rittenberg notes that Luke Fickell will stay with Ohio State through the playoff.

South Florida: Charlie Strong left Tampa this morning and before boarding his plane told Tom Korun of WFTS-TV in Tampa, “I’ll be back.”

Joe Moorhead: Pat Forde is reporting that Moorhead will not get the Temple job and will return to Penn State as offensive coordinator.

Cincinnati: Luke Fickell has agreed to become the new head coach at Cincinnati we can confirm. ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reported the news this AM and Jordan Strack first reported the agreement yesterday (including the fact that it would be announced today). Brett McMurphy adds that Fickell’s deal will be for 6-years.

Eastern Washington (FCS): EWU and Beau Baldwin are finalizing details of a new five-year agreement. Baldwin has led the program the past nine seasons and has an overall record of 84-31 and 58-14 in Big Sky conference play.

Morgan State (FCS – MD): Fred Farrier has had the interim title shed and has been named the program’s new head coach. Farrier led the program to a 3-8 mark this past season.

Florida Atlantic: Sources tell FootballScoop FAU and Lane Kiffin were in talks deep into Friday night but negotiations have hit a stumbling block. Will update as more becomes clear. Update> Kirk Herbstreit is now reporting the same on ESPN.

Birmingham Southern (D-III – AL): Centre College (D-III – KY) offensive line coach Anthony Colucci has been named the Offensive Coordinator on Tony Joe White’s new staff. Colucci and White worked together over the past three years at Centre.

Arizona Christian University (NAIA – Phoenix, AZ): Arizona Christian University is seeking an opponent for Sept. 2nd, 2017 or Nov. 11th, 2017. Looking for a NAIA/D3 opponent preferably. Interested programs please contact head coach Jeff Bowen at
