Minnesota-Crookston (D-II): University of Minnesota-Crookston is looking for an offensive assistant coach. Coaching duties could include OL, TEs, or RBs depending on experience of the candidate. The position includes a part-time salary, approximately $15,000, and possible tuition reimbursement for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities may include but are not limited to recruiting your own area, video editing, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Gavilan (CC – CA): Head coach Spencer Gilford has stepped down, citing personal reasons. Gavilan was 10-20 under Gilford.
Miami (OH): Per source, Miami staff interns Joe Bowen and Tyler Walker have been promoted to defensive grad assistants. We understand that Bowen will work with the secondary and Walker will assist with the defensive line.
Kansas: Per source, Troy Kema, an assistant AD for academic services at Texas A&M, has joined coach Beaty’s staff at Kansas as director of player personnel and student services.
Catholic University of America (D-III – Washington, DC): Bill Bachman, who has been on staff the past two seasons, has been promoted to defensive coordinator. Bachman previously served as defensive coordinator for the program from 1985 to 1990.

Hartwick (D-III – NY): Hartwick College is accepting applications for a full-time (10-month) assistant football coach. The assistant coach is responsible for coaching a position (defense), as well as assisting the head football coach with all aspects of the daily operation of a competitive football program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, the organization and conduct of practices/competitions, fundraising, parent and alumni relations, and duties associated with the overall administration of the program in accordance with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Missouri: Gary Pinkel has received a new contract taking him through 2021, raising his base salary to $4.02 million per year (a raise of $800,000 from 2014).
Liberty (FCS – VA): Per source, Youngstown State associate head coach Ron Brown has now formally accepted the receivers position at Liberty.
Salaries: Baylor head coach Art Briles was credited with more than $4.2 million in compensation during the 2013 calendar year according to tax documents obtained by USA Today. TCU head coach Gary Patterson earned more than $3.9 million during that same year, while Boston College head coach Steve Addazio made nearly $2.6 million.
Cal: Pierre Ingram’s contract will not be renewed and he will be leaving the program.

Minot State (D-II – ND): Minot State is looking to hire an offensive and defensive graduate assistant. Previous collegiate experience coaching or playing is preferred. The job includes coaching a position, recruiting, use of digital editing system, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Coordinator. The position will begin August 1st. Compensation includes a stipend and full tuition to Minot State’s graduate school. Candidates must apply and be accepted into the Graduate school to be considered. Ventura College (CC – CA): Ventura College is looking for offensive and defensive interns for the 2015 season. The intern positions will start July 6th and are unpaid volunteer positions (with the exception of pre-game meals, gear, and travel). The volunteers will a assist with a position group, set up the field and drills with the offensive and defensive coaches, film practice, and have assigned responsibilities on game day.
