Occidental (D-III – CA): Occidental has made the tough decision to call off the remainder of the season due to low numbers. The program cancelled their second game of the year, played two games, and then had to cancel again this past weekend against conference opponent La Verne. In total, they played three games this season, and were 0-3 in those games.

Nebraska: Bill Moos’ five-year deal worth $1 million annually makes him the second-highest paid Big Ten athletic director by base salary, behind only Wisconsin’s Barry Alvarez ($1.125 million base salary annually). According to his contract, obtained by the Journal Star, if the Huskers win the Big Ten title, Moos will collect $100,000, and if they win the national title he would make an additional $150,000. Combining all bonus payments, Moos is eligible to receive a maximum of $525,000. If Moos were to leave for another job before the end of 2018, he would owe Nebraska $2 million, and that decreases to $500,000 in 2019, 2020, and 2021 and he’d owe the school nothing if he left in 2022.

Malone (D-II – OH): Malone University is looking to fill an open date with a home game on October 20th, 2018 with a DII opponent or an away game with an FCS opponent and a guarantee. If interested, please contact Head Coach Fred Thomas at [email protected].

UW-La Crosse (D-III): The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse is looking for a home and home contract for 2018 and 2019. 2018 would need to be in La Crosse. We are open week two or three (September 8 or 15 in 2018). Please contact Assistant Head Coach Mike Anderson at [email protected] or (608) 785-5171.
