Incarnate Word (FCS – TX): Cody Crill has been formally introduced as the program’s offensive coordinator.

UNLV: Per source, Idaho linebackers coach Eric Brown is leaving to join the UNLV staff.

Ohio State: After turning down the Titans’ offensive coordinator job, Ryan Day has been promoted to Ohio State’s offensive coordinator. More on the move here.

FAU: Source tells FootballScoop UNLV offensive line coach John Garrison will be the new offensive line coach at FAU. Garrison has served as UNLV’s OL coach since 2015. He previously had coached offensive line at Nebraska as well.

Boise State: Director of program development Chris Ross has been named head coach at Red Oak HS (TX), per Matt Stepp. Ross previously served as head coach at Wichita Falls HS, Cedar Park HS, and Prosper HS.

Michigan State: Eastern Michigan defensive line coach Chuck Bullough is joining Mark Dantonio’s staff at Michigan State reports Hondo Carpenter of SpartanNation.

Green Bay Packers: The Packers are moving Jason Simmons from assistant special teams coach to assistant defensive backs coach, per Alex Marvez.

Savannah State (FCS – GA): Savannah State University seeks qualified applicants for Assistant Football Coach. This position serves as Defensive Coordinator for a Division I FCS program; leads and coaches according to the NCAA, State, National, MEAC and Institutional guidelines. Provides support to the Head Coach in all aspects of on-field coaching, player development, academic success, recruiting, film study, practice organization, position meetings, scouting opponents, and special teams coaching. Responsible for Defensive Scout Team and Game Plan development; recruits assigned area, monitors strength and conditioning of athletes; and is accountable for the performance of the Defensive team, including strategy, planning and adjustments. Responsibilities include community service/public relations, locker room, high school relations, and the supervision and training of assistant coaches assigned to the defensive staff. Coordinates activities critical to a successful football program; may be directed to perform job related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description.
