University of Chicago (D-III – IL): The University of Chicago is accepting applications for the position of offensive intern football coach. This individual will assist the Offensive Coordinator and will coach a position group. This position is eligible for a seasonal stipend. No benefits or housing. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of student-athletes on and off-campus, on field coaching, offensive analytics, practice planning, video editing with Hudl, equipment tasks, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Towson (FCS – MD): Towson University is accepting applications for an assistant football coach working with tight ends and fullbacks. This position will provide assistance in the areas of student-athlete recruitment, development of game plan, practice and game coaching, skills instruction, and academic monitoring. Qualifications; Bachelor’s degree and two years of coaching experience, including as a graduate assistant, at the camp/clinic, high school, collegiate, or professional level. Experience coaching at a collegiate level and previously passing the NCAA recruiting test are strongly preferred. Kentucky: Sources tell FootballScoop University of Florida director of player personnel EK Franks has accepted the director of player personnel & recruiting position at Kentucky. Franks previously served in a similar capacity at Arkansas for Bret Bielema. With the move, sources tell FootballScoop Dan Berezowitz is moving into the role of Chief of Staff.

Saint Francis (NAIA – IN): Per source, some staff responsibilities have been shuffled a bit. Joey Didier and Eric Wagoner will continue to share the co-defensive coordinator title but Wagoner is moving from defensive line to linebackers and Didier will remain with the defensive backs.

Bowling Green: Per source, Josh Miller has joined the staff in a graduate assistant position after spending last season at Saint Francis (NAIA – IN).

NCAA: The NCAA has tabled a proposal that would allow players to compete in up to four games and retain their redshirt status. Read more here.

Saint Francis (NAIA – IN): Murray State (FCS – KY) special teams quality control coach / video coordinator Derek Prather has accepted the defensive line job, per source.

Amherst (D-III – MA): Amherst College seeks an Intern Assistant Coach of Football (RBs). The Intern Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all phases of the Football Program including coaching your own position, film-breakdown, scouting reports, recruitment of student-athletes, and other duties to be assigned. The position requires an understanding of the role of intercollegiate athletics in a highly competitive academic environment: strong recruiting, teaching, and coaching skills; and commitment to NESCAC and NCAA policies. Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III – TX): Per source, Olanda James has been added to the staff as the recruiting coordinator after spending a brief stint with the Green Bay Blizzard (IFL) as their linebackers coach and football operations assistant. James spent the 2017 at South Dakota State University assisting with operations, player development, and recruiting.

Michigan: The university is investigating a disturbing situation involving a (now former) player sending threatening tweets to Jim Harbaugh.

Central State (D-II – OH): Per source, former Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Brandon McKinney has been named defensive line coach at Central State and Hiram (D-III – OH) running backs coach James Hudgins is joining the staff as quarterbacks coach.

St. Norbert (D-III – WI): St. Norbert College is seeking an assistant football coach / admissions athletic recruiter. This is a full-time, 12-month, limited travel, $38,000 with benefits position.
