    New York Jets: Team owner Woody Johnson will “move swiftly” to fire both GM John Idzik and head coach Rex Ryan on Monday, according to Chris Mortensen.

    New York Giants: Tom Coughlin sounded every bit like a coach that plans on returning for a 12th season at the helm in 2015 on Sunday. “I’m going to go about my business just like I always do, until told otherwise,” he told the Giants’ loss to Philadelphia.

    Colorado State: Central Florida defensive coordinator Tyson Summers will take the same role at Colorado State according to Brett McMurphy. We can confirm the same.

    Jim Harbaugh: Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers have “mutually parted ways” the team has announced. “It’s been the time of my life here,” Harbaugh said of his four years in San Francisco following the 49ers’ season finale on Sunday. Read more here.

    Oregon State: Gary Andersen has formally announced the additions of Dave Baldwin as offensive coordinator and Utah State offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Kevin McGiven as quarterbacks coach. McGiven was our winner of the 2014 FootballScoop Quarterbacks Coach of the Year.

    Vanderbilt: Sources tell us Wisconsin offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig and New Orleans Saints secondary coach Wes McGriff will join the staff as Derek Mason’s offensive and defensive coordinators.

    Pikeville (NAIA – KY): Pikeville is seeking applications for graduate assistants on offense and defense. Job Responsibilities include: coaching a position, helping with equipment, working with special teams, assist in recruiting, holding own position meetings, assisting with day-to-day offensive/defensive preparation and any other areas assigned by the head coach or coordinators. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must be accepted in the University of Pikeville Coleman College of Buisness and be able to start in January. Each assistant will be provided 6 hours of classes per semester, $500 a month, room and board.     West Virginia: Per source, JaJuan Seider has signed a two year extension, with considerable pay increase.

    Oregon State: Former Colorado State offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin is joining Gary Andersen’s staff as offensive coordinator. Baldwin previously served as Andersen’s offensive coordinator at Utah State as well.

    Texas A&M: Kevin Sumlin stated today that all three of the vacant assistant spots (defensive coordinator, receivers, and offensive line) will be filled within the next week. Back on Christmas day we reported that Utah offensive coordinator Dave Christensen would be joining the staff as offensive line coach / run game coordinator.

    Jim Harbaugh: Both Jay Glazer and Adam Schefter are reporting that, contrary to reports last night that Harbaugh to Michigan was “a done deal” that is not the case, and the Raiders still plan to state their case to land him. Schefter adds that Michigan is the current favorite. Will update…

    Southern Illinois: Head coach Dale Lennon, who also served as defensive coordinator this past season, has announced three staff changes; secondary coach / recruiting coordinator David Elson will take over defensive coordinator duties, and Nick Hill (QBs) has added the title of co-offensive coordinator, a role he will share with newly appointed assistant head coach Bill O’Boyle (co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach).

    New England Patriots: Director of player personnel Nick Caserio has signed a contract extension through 2020 according to Adam Schefter.

    Atlanta Falcons: The club has hired Korn Ferry to help identify head coaching candidates in the event it makes a change, according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.

    Michigan: “It’s done. Jim Harbaugh is coming to Michigan” says John Bacon who follows Michigan athletics from Ann Arbor.

    Colorado Mines (D-II): Per source, New Mexico State offensive coordinator Gregg Brandon will be the new head coach at Colorado Mines.

    Michigan State: Mark Dantonio has promoted Harlon Barnett and Mike Tressel to co-defensive coordinator roles. Barnett was also named assistant head coach.

    Mississippi State: Cornerbacks coach Deshea Townsend will take over defensive coordinator duties for the Dec. 31 Orange Bowl, Dan Mullen announced Saturday.

    Utah: Salt Lake City radio host Hans Olsen tweeted Saturday, “At this point, it is highly unlikely Kyle Whittingham returns as the head coach at the University of Utah.” On Friday, the Salt Lake Tribune reported on a growing rift between Whittingham and AD Chris Hill. According to the report, Whittingham was seeking larger contracts for defensive coordinator Kalani Sitake and defensive line coach Ilaisa Tuiaki than Hill was willing to offer. Wittingham is 85-43 as the Utes’ head coach and coached at the U since 1994. We’ll keep you updated as the story develops.

    Clemson: Athletics director Dan Radakovich said Saturday that the Tigers plan to announce some staff raises after Monday’s bowl game, but they may not use all of the $1.3 million salary left behind by Chad Morris.

    Michigan State: Pat Narduzzi confirmed Friday he will coach the Spartans in the Cotton Bowl.

    Baylor: Art Briles announced at a Cotton Bowl press conference that Kendal Briles will take over as the Bears’ offensive coordinator. Other staff decisions will be made after the bowl game, Briles said.

    Notre Dame: Former UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin is joining the staff in an administrative role focusing on student welfare and development.

    Pitt: A press conference for 3:30 EST has been announced to introduce Pat Narduzzi as the new head coach of the Panthers.

    Emporia State (D-II – KS): Emporia State University is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate assistant job on the defensive side of the ball with experience in the secondary either playing or coaching. Applicants must be highly motivated in recruiting student-athletes along with their coaching duties. Candidates need to have previous knowledge in Hudl software and Microsoft Excel. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (2.7 Minimum GPA). Compensation includes Full-tuition waiver along with monthly stipend for 10 months.     McPherson (NAIA – KS): Per source, former Loras College (D-III – IA) head coach Paul Mierkiewicz will be the new head coach at McPherson College.

    Montana State – Northern (NAIA): Missouri Valley College (NAIA) offensive coordinator Aaron Christensen has been announced as the new head coach.

    Colorado State: Mike Bobo has officially added Georgia offensive line coach Will Friend as offensive coordinator and also noted that Marty English, who served as co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach on Jim McElwain’s staff, will be retained with a role on the defensive staff to be determined.

    Georgia: Tight ends coach John Lilly will call plays for Georgia in the Belk Bowl vs. Louisville on Dec. 30.

    Colorado State: Will Friend has officially been announced as the Rams’ offensive coordinator.

    Pitt: Joe Schad is reporting that Pat Narduzzi and Pitt have finalized their contract.

    South Carolina: Earlier this week, former standout running back Marcus Lattimore talked about plans to re-enroll in classes and join the university in an ambassador-type role. Steve Spurrier noted recently that Lattimore will likely join the staff as a student assistant in the spring.

    Ottawa Redblacks (CFL): Bryan Chiu has been hired as the new offensive line coach of the Redblacks. Chiu spent last season as the offensive line coach of the Toronto Argonauts.
