    Alabama: Defensive analyst Tosh Lupoi is expected to be promoted to outside linebackers coach according to Sports Illustrated.

    Chicago Bears: The Bears have named Bo Hardegree as an offensive assistant coach. He was an offensive QC for the Broncos in 2014.

    Alabama: The Tide has announced that Lane Kiffin will return to Alabama as offensive coordinator in 2015. “We’re very pleased and happy that Lane is going to be staying here at the University of Alabama with us,” said Nick Saban.

    Whittier College (D-III – CA): Whittier College is accepting resumes for the position of defensive coordinator. Must have previous defensive coordinator experience at the college level.     Syracuse: Syracuse has hired Air Force tight ends coach Jake Moreland to coach the same position and will move Bobby Acosta to wide receivers coach, according to Stephen Bailey of

    Chicago Bears: The Bears have hired former Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains to coach the quarterbacks and former Atlanta Falcons linebackers coach Glenn Pires to coach their linebackers.

    Cal: Offensive grad assistant Jacob Peeler has been promoted to inside receivers coach. As a GA, Peeler worked with the inside receivers at Cal the past two seasons. Additionally, Pierre Ingram has been moved from running backs to receivers and added a passing game coordinator title.

    Houston: Tom Herman has officially announced Fernando Lovo as director of operations and Adrian Mayes as director of recruiting. He has also promoted Marcus McGraw to director of player personnel and Tory Tekyl to director of internal operations.

    Toronto Argonauts (CFL): Per source, Edmonton Eskimos offensive line coach/run game coordinator Jonathan Himebauch is headed to the Argos as assistant head coach/offensive line coach.

    Utah State: Offensive line coach Mark Weber has added the title of associate head coach.

    Augustana (D-III – IL): New head coach Steve Bell has added Dave Ragone as associate head coach / offensive line coach / special teams coach and Dan Bauder as defensive coordinator. Ragone spent the past 15 years with Bell at Monmouth as offensive line coach / special teams coordinator and Bauder was the linebacker coach at Wittenberg (D-III – OH) last season.

    Florida International: Former Pittsburgh defensive coordinator Matt House has been named the defensive coordinator at FIU.

    NY Jets: Todd Bowles has now formally announced seven assistants.     LSU: Four assistants have gotten new contracts; RBs coach Frank Wilson (3-years, $660k), DBs coach Corey Raymond (2-years, $310k), TEs coach Steve Ensminger (2-years, $300k), WR coach Adam Henry (2-years, $375k). The new deals are a $10,000 raise for Wilson and Raymond, and a $50,000 raise for Henry while Ensminger’s salary remains the same. Defensive line coach Ed Orgeron has a two year deal worth $450,000 per year and new defensive coordinator Kevin Steele’s contract will reportedly be added to the board agenda early next week.

    UMass: Longtime NFL and college coach Mark Michaels has joined the staff as special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach. Prior to coming to UMass, Michaels was the defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator at Ridgeview HS (FL).

    NY Jets: The Jets have name Kacy Rodgers defensive coordinator, and Bobby April special teams coordinator. Rodgers coached the defensive line for the Dolphins the last seven years, and April coordinated the special teams for the Raiders the past two seasons. Also, Karl Dorrell (who served as offensive coordinator at Vanderbilt last season), has been named receivers coach.

    Michigan: Jim Harbaugh’s seven-year contract has been released. He’ll earn $5 million a year with 10 percent bumps after 2017 and 2019. More details here.

    Phoenix College (JC – AZ): Boston Brawler’s (FXFL) run game coordinator, and former Washington offensive line coach, Dan Cozzetto has been named head coach.

    Catawba College (D-II – NC): Defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator Chris Collins has been selected to participate in the 2015 NFL-NCAA Coaching Academy.

    San Francisco 49ers: Former NY Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is interviewing for the corners job today, according to multiple reports.

    San Diego State: The school has now announced the hire of former UNLV head coach Bobby Hauck as special teams coordinator.

    Oakland Raiders: The Raiders have now formally announced the additions of Todd Downing (QBs), Marcus Robertson (DBs), Sal Sunseri (LBs) and Mike Tice (OL).

    Texas State: Per source, Luke Miller has joined the staff as a graduate assistant.

    Utah State: Josh Heupel’s official title with the Aggies will be assistant head coach / offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

    Colorado Mines (D-II): Per source, Whittier College (D-III – CA) defensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator / defensive backs coach Isaac Carter is the new defensive coordinator.

    Morehead State (FCS – KY): Former Morehead State linebacker and assistant Zack Moore has returned to his alma mater as linebackers coach. Moore spent the past four seasons as the head coach at East Carter HS (KY).

    Orange Coast College (CC – CA): Former Costa Mesa (CA) HS head coach Wally Grant has joined the staff as running backs coach.

    Denver Broncos: Houston Texans defensive line coach Bill Kollar is leaving to rejoin Gary Kubiak in the same post.

    Texas State: Per source, Carter English has been hired as recruiting coordinator and Reuben Vaughn, who served as recruiting coordinator last year, will move into a player development role.

    New Mexico State: Sources tell us that San Diego receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Cory Martin will join his father’s (Doug Martin) staff at New Mexico State.

    Tulsa: Stephenville HS (TX) head coach Joe Gillespie has accepted a job on Philip Montgomery’s staff, per Matt Stepp. Tulsa has announced that Gillespie will coach the linebackers.

    San Francisco 49ers: Former New York Jets special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey will be the new special teams coordinator for the 49ers.

    Houston Texans: The Texans have promoted Jon Carr to director of college scouting and Matt Jansen has been hired in the new role of college scouting coordinator.

    Chicago Bears: Frank Smith, who spent the past five seasons as an offensive assistant with the Saints, has been hired to coach the tight ends. Also, Denver strength and conditioning coach Jason George, who spent the past three seasons in Denver with John Fox, has joined the Bears as well.

    Youngstown State: Ron Brown, who coached the running backs at Nebraska the past four seasons, is joining Bo Pelini’s staff at Youngstown State as associate head coach / running backs coach. Overall, Brown spent a total of 24 years on staff at Nebraska.

    Utah State: We can confirm multiple local reports that former Oklahoma offensive coordinator Josh Heupel has agreed to become the new offensive coordinator at Utah State.

    Tennessee: Fox Sports is reporting that offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian is leaving to “pursue other coaching opportunities”. We can confirm this and add, per sources, Bajakian has been offered a very appealing NFL job (quarterbacks coach for the Tampa Bay Bucs…who have the first pick in this year’s draft); with this morning’s news regarding Central Michigan, a job Bajakian was in the running for when Dan Enos was hired, this might change things. Based on what we have heard, we would expect this to play out in the next 24-48 hours.

    Tampa Bay Bucs: Andrew Weidinger has been added as an offensive quality control coach according to Greg Auman. Weidinger spent the last seven years with the Atlanta Falcons, three of them under Dirk Koetter.

    Troy: Missouri Western defensive grad assistant Josh Jones has accepted a grad assistant job on Neal Brown’s staff, per source.

    Illinois State (FCS): Head coach Brock Spack will receive a raise from $268,000 to $300,000 and a contract extension through the 2021 season, athletics director Larry Lyons has announced. Spock led the Redbirds to a 13-2 mark and an FCS championship appearance this fall.

    Chicago Bears: Former Denver offensive coordinator Adam Gase will rejoin John Fox in Chicago in the same role, per multiple outlets.

    Buffalo Bills: Anthony Lynn will join Rex Ryan’s staff as running backs coach according to Kimberly Jones of NFL Network. He’ll also have an assistant head coach title according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.

    Missouri: Phil Pitts’ title at Missouri will be defensive analyst. Yesterday it was reported that Pitts had stepped down from the head coaching post at Helias HS (MO).

    Oakland Raiders: The Raiders have hired former 49ers special teams coordinator Brad Seely as their special teams coordinator. The Raiders will also hire Marcus Robertson as defensive backs coach according to Ian Rapoport.

    San Francisco 49ers: According to multiple reports, the Niners have hired former Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Jason Tarver as linebackers coach / senior assistant.

    Delaware State (FCS): Former Louisville special teams coordinator / running backs coach Kenny Carter has been hired as the program’s new head coach. Carter spent last season at Youngstown State as passing game coordinator and c0-special teams coordinator.

    Georgia: Mark Richt’s contract has been extended two years through the 2019 season, and his salary has been increased to $4 million, effective this year. Richt made $3.2 million last season.

    Nebraska: Now that the hire of Tulane receivers coach Keith Williams has been announced by the school, Mike Riley’s staff at Nebraska is complete.     Troy: Jamaal Smith, who served as DFO for the past 18 months, has transitioned to the position of director of player development.

    Pitt: Pit has now formally announced the hire of Purdue receivers coach Kevin Sherman, thus completing Pat Narduzzi’s first staff.     Malone (D-II – OH): Malone University is seeking applications for a graduate assistant position on defense. The positions require a highly motivated person to assist with the implementation of practices, evaluation of student athletes, off and on campus recruiting, scouting and other duties assigned by the head football coach.     Rutgers: Multiple outlets are reporting that former Paramus Catholic HS (NJ) head coach Chris Partridge is expected to join the Rutgers recruiting staff. Partridge stepped down at Paramus Catholic announced his resignation at the team banquet earlier this week to “pursue college opportunities”.

    Murray State (FCS – KY): Per source, Chattanooga corners coach Brandon Cooper and running backs coach Shawn Dawkins are leaving for positions on staff at Murray State. We hear that Cooper will serve as linebackers coach and special teams coordinator and Dawkins will coach the running backs.

    Dartmouth (FCS – NH): Offensive quality control coach Jerry Taylor Jr. has been promoted to receivers coach.

    Denver Broncos: Gary Kubiak has finalized his offensive staff and retained three coaches. Tyke Tolbert (WRs), Eric Studesville (RBs) and Luke Richesson (strength and conditioning) will all be retained according to the Denver Post. Clancy Barone will shift from TEs to OL, and as previously reported, Rick Dennison (OC) and Brian Pariani (TEs) will join Kubiak from the Baltimore staff.

    Wisconsin: Daronte Jones (DBs) and Tim Tibesar (OLBs) have now been formally announced as two new additions to Paul Chryst’s staff. Jones coached the secondary at Hawaii the past three seasons and Tibesar worked as a defensive consultant at Northwestern last season, coached the Chicago Bears linebackers in 2013, and coordinated Purdue’s defense in 2012.

    Samford (FCS – AL): Per source, Georgia Southern director of player personnel Victor Cabral will be the new the defensive line at Samford. Cabral previously coached the defensive line at Georgia Southern for four seasons (2010-2013) before transitioning to the player personnel role.

    Western Carolina: Running backs coach De’Rail Sims has been selected to participate in the NFL-NCAA coaching Academy.

    Arkansas: Vernon Hargreaves has been announced at the Razorbacks new linebackers coach. His deal is worth $275,000 annually through June 30, 2016. Hargreaves spent last season at Houston coaching the linebackers and has previous stops at Miami, ECU and South Florida.

    Nebraska: Per source, Tulane wide receivers coach Keith Williams will be the next wide receivers coach at Nebraska.

    Washington Redskins: Washington is hiring Joe Barry as defensive coordinator according to Ian Rapoport.

    Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Bills head coach Doug Marrone has been hired as assistant head coach offense / offensive line coach.

    UC Davis: Per source, Minnesota Crookston (D-II) running backs / tight ends coach Wes Nurse will join the UC Davis staff and coach the corners.

    Louisiana Tech: Former Duke defensive line coach Rick Petri has joined the staff.

    South Alabama: Per source, Alabama director of player personnel Tyler Siskey is leaving to get back on the field at South Alabama. A former Arkansas State receivers coach, Siskey will coach the same position at South Alabama. If your goal is to be a head coach, you’ve got to be on the field. A great hire for Joey Jones.

    Texas Tech: Special teams coordinator Darrin Chiaverini has been selected for the 2015 NFL-NCAA Coaches Academy.

    Pitt: Sources tell us that Purdue receivers coach Kevin Sherman has accepted the receivers job at Pitt.

    Here’s an update on the open WR jobs among FBS programs

    Chicago Bears: Former 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has been hired by the Bears as defensive coordinator, per Jason La Canfora. Ian Rapoport tweets that former Niners secondary coach Ed Donatell is expected to join Fangio in Chicago.

    Morehead State (FCS – KY): Per source, Centre College (D-III – KY) receivers coach Jameson Stephens has accepted a restricted earnings job working with the receivers at Morehead State.

    Michigan: Michigan has formally announced Jay Harbaugh as tight ends/assistant special teams coach.

    Two lists, one troubling trend for the Big 12.

    Bowdoin (D-III – ME): Per source, JB Wells, who has led the Endicott (D-III – MA) program since 2001, will be the new head coach at Bowdoin. Wells is the only head coach that the Endicott program has ever known. He won over 75 games and made the NCAA playoffs twice (2010 and 2013).

    Chattanooga (FCS – TN): Per source, Morehead State defensive backs coach and special teams coordinator Rod West has been hired as the cornerbacks coach at Chattanooga.

    Atlanta Falcons: Alex Marvez is reporting that Dan Quinn (who is reportedly taking over as head coach of the Falcons following the Seahawks appearance in the Super Bowl) is expected to retain defensive line coach Bryan Cox.

    New Orleans Saints: Former Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland is being hired to do college scouting for the Saints, per Adam Schefter.

    Missouri: Helias HS (MO) head coach Phil Pitts is joining the Missouri staff according to

    Oakland Raiders: Jack Del Rio has hired Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave as his offensive coordinator, according to Mike Silver. Musgrave worked under Del Rio in Jacksonville as offensive coordinator from 2003-2004.

    Cal: Brandon Jones, who joined Sonny Dykes’ staff last week from ECU, has the official title of offensive line coach / run game coordinator.

    New Orleans Saints: The Saints are adding former Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen in a “senior defensive role” with the team working with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, according to Adam Schefter. Allen was a part of the Saints’ staff from 2006-2010.

    Cleveland Browns: Per Ian Rapoport, the Browns have interviewed former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz for their offensive coordinator vacancy. Martz spent two seasons with the Bears as offensive coordinator and has been out of the league since 2011.

    Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles have hired Denver’s Cory Undlin as defensive backs coach and have promoted Justin Peelle to tight ends coach. Peele served as an assistant tight ends coach in Chip Kelly’s first two seasons in Philly and takes over for Ted Williams, who had been with the organization since 1995. Williams and John Lovett (who coached the DBs last season) will transition to pro scouting roles for the Eagles.

    Morehead State (FCS – KY): Morehead State is looking to hire three non-coaching interns for the spring of 2015.
