Franklin College (D-III – IN): Franklin College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, invites applications for an Assistant Football Coach (Offensive Line) and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the football program with recruiting and coaching duties and directing the strength and conditioning program for the athletic department. This a full-time, 10-month staff position. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is preferred. Candidates must have offensive line experience and must hold NCCA strength/conditioning certification (either through NSCA or CSCCA). Central Michigan: Tony Coaxum is joining the staff as special teams coordinator / corners tweets Adam Rittenberg. Coaxum most recently served as assistant special teams coordinator for the Denver Broncos.

Jacksonville: The Jaguars have announced two year contract extensions for EVP Tom Coughlin, GM Dave Caldwell and head coach Doug Marrone. The three are now under contract through the 2021 season.

Marshall: As we reported days ago was expected & in the works, Bruce Feldman has now tweeted that Charlotte offensive line coach Greg Adkins is the choice at Marshall to be their new offensive line coach.

Los Angeles Rams: Holy Cross (FCS – MA) offensive coordinator Liam Coen has accepted a position on the Rams’ offensive staff, sources told FootballScoop. Coen joined the staff earlier this year, and prior to that was the offensive coordinator at Maine in 2016-17 and coached quarterbacks at UMass, Brown and Rhode Island.

Michigan: Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Tim Drevno has resigned from the staff, according to The Wolverine Lounge. Bruce Feldman adds that former Ohio State and Minnesota offensive line coach Ed Warinner, who joined the staff earlier this winter as an analyst, is expected to slide up and replace Drevno as offensive line coach. We can confirm Harbaugh is promoting Ed Warinner to offensive line coach.

Purdue: Utah State running backs coach/special teams coordinator Mark Tommerdahl will join the Purdue staff, sources tell FootballScoop.

Texas: AD Chris Del Conte has signed a 7-year contract that will pay him $1.3 million this year and rise to $1.57 million by the final year of the contract, with a $400,000 retention bonus to be paid on Aug. 31, 2024. The school will send a $1 million payment to TCU to buy Del Conte out of his contract there.

East Tennessee State (FCS): Former Tennessee Tech DFO Price Patrick is now the tight ends coach at East Tennessee State.

Indianapolis Colts: Former Oakland Raiders tight ends coach Bobby Johnson will come aboard as assistant offensive line coach, according to Alex Marvez.

Texas: Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando would see a raise from $1.1 million to $1.7 million pending board approval. Additionally, new offensive line coach Herb Hand has signed a 3-year deal worth $640,000 a year.

Simon Fraser (D-II – Canada): We’re told Taylor Summers has been hired as defensive coordinator and Mike Rigell has been hired as special teams coordinator.

Alabama: Nick Saban has announced what is essentially an entirely new staff for the 2018 season. 

East Texas Baptist (D-III): Offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Demo Odems has resigned to pursue other opportunities, sources tell FootballScoop.

Alderson Broaddus (D-II – WV): Alderson Broaddus has an immediate opening for a Defensive Line Coach with potential to add Coordinator duties. DL coaching or playing experience is required. Please send cover letter and resume to [email protected].
