Hiram (D-III – OH): Hiram has an opening for a defensive intern. The position will include a small stipend, room and board. This position will assist the head coach in all facets of the sports program including, but not limited to, coaching a defensive position, the development and implementation of individual fundamental skills, recruiting and retaining quality young men and athletes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior playing or coaching experience at the college/university or professional level is preferred. Flexibility is required for scheduled practices and competition during the season. UW-La Crosse (D-III): Andrew Gough has been added to the staff as an offensive grad assistant (RBs), and three interns have been added to the staff in Spencer Capitani (assisting with corners), Ryan Bright (assisting with the tight ends), and student intern Mitch Hawkins (assisting with linebackers),
Alabama A&M: Head coach James Spady has announced a number of adjustments to his staff. Marlon Watson has joined the staff as defensive backs / nickels coach, defensive coordinator Reggie Johnson will coach the defensive line and be assisted by Brent Pradia, who will also coach the linebackers and coordinate special teams and Matt Sanders will continue to coach the defensive backs and serve as recruiting coordinator. On offense, assistant head coach Andy Fuller will coach the tackles and tight ends, and wide receivers coach Ashley Lelie will add the title of pass game coordinator. Offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Phil Dorn will continue to be the primary playcaller, and Willie Totten will continue to coach the quarterbacks / running backs.
Coe College (D-III – IA): Former Coe College offensive lineman Charlie Goetzinger is joining the staff, per source. Goetzinger coached the offensive line at Jefferson HS (Cedar Rapids, IA) the past four seasons.
UW-La Crosse (D-III – WI): The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse seeks applications for the full-time position of assistant football coach (defense) / Director of Sports Performance Center. The position is being split 60/40. The Director of Sports Performance Center position is a 60%, 12-month contract and will serve as the director of the Sports Performance Center and be one of three strength and conditioning coaches employed by UW-L Athletics. A national strength certification is a required qualification for this position. The assistant football coach position is 40% and a 9-month contract. The individual should possess the skills and experiences necessary to serve as a position coach on the UW-L football coaching staff, on the defensive side of the football. Bethel College (NAIA – KS): Morris Lolar has been hired as the Thresher’s new head coach. Lolar previously served as the defensive coordinator at Independence CC (KS).
Penn State: Per source, UTSA defensive grad assistant Ryan Smith is joining the staff as a defensive grad assistant working with the defensive backs. Smith worked with the corners at UTSA.
Cleveland Browns: The NFL has suspended Ray Farmer for four games for using his cell phone during games during the 2014 season (a.k.a Text-gate), and Farmer will also be fined $250,000.
Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons are being fined $350,000 and will lose a fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft for piping in crowd noise to the stadium the past two years. Also, team President Rich McKay has been suspended from serving on the Competition Committee beginning April 1st, and can apply for reinstatement no sooner than June 30th.

SUNY-Maritime (D-III): Per source, Saj Thakkar has joined the staff as a full-time assistant coach and will also serve as director of football operations. Thakkar was a grad assistant working with the running backs and special teams coordinator last season at Fitchburg State (D-III – MA).
Stanford: Per source, Stanford has hired Eric Sanders (DL) and TJ Rushing (DBs) in quality control roles. Sanders spent the past five years with the Oakland Raiders in a quality control capacity, and Rushing spent last season coaching the corners at Northern Arizona.
Maine: Per source, tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Shawn Demaray has added the title of special teams coordinator for offense and will handle duties on the punt, kickoff return, and PAT/FG units.
Louisville: Per source, former Woodbridge HS (VA) head coach Karibi Dede has joined the Louisville staff as a defensive quality control coach.
Fort Valley State (D-II – GA): Fairley HS (Memphis, TN) head coach Rod “Mudd” Williams has the joined the staff as running backs coach, per source.
Northern Illinois: Adam Siwicki, who was the defensive coordinator at University of St. Francis (NAIA – IL) last season, has been named defensive line grad assistant and Nick Brautigam (who assisted with the defensive backs last season) has been promoted to defensive grad assistant, per source.
Northern State (D-II – SD): Northern State University is accepting applications for a full-time assistant football coach coaching the defensive secondary. Responsibilities: Primary duties include coaching the defensive backs and having a major role in special teams coaching. Position will include, but not limited to: conducting daily defensive backs meetings, planning and coordinating individual and group practice drills, identifying and diagraming opponents passing plays, overseeing the academic progress of position group, and scripting and formulating practice plans. Position will have a full-time recruiting area, experience in recruiting on and off-campus is preferred and will be a major part of the position. Position will include other duties assigned by the head coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Western Carolina (FCS): Defensive ends coach/recruiting coordinator Mark Rhea has been promoted to assistant head coach, running backs coach De’Rail Sims has been named director of player development, offensive line coach John Holt has been named director of player personnel, defensive tackles coach Dennis Thomas has been named director of housing and pro liaison, and tight ends coach Pat Mills has been named special teams coordinator.

David McWilliams, a former Texas Tech and Texas head coach in the late 1980’s and early ’90’s, has announced his retirement from a long-held position running the Longhorns’ lettermen’s association.
Stanford: The program has announced that Ryan Devlin has been promoted to coordinator of player personnel.
College Football Playoff: Archie Manning will not rejoin the selection committee, and former Vanderbilt head coach Bobby Johnson has been appointed to take his place.
Savannah State (FCS – GA): Former Norfolk State assistant offensive line coach Donovan Jackson has been hired as offensive line coach. Jackson spent the last few years as the head coach at Northeast Guilford HS (NC).
Ellsworth (CC – IA): Per source, Donny Diaz has been hired as defensive backs coach / recruiting coordinator. Diaz served as wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator at Itasca (CC – MN) last season.
Penn: Former Kansas tight ends coach Jeff Blasko has joined the Penn staff in the same capacity, per source.
St. Augustine (D-II – NC): Per Source, Fayetteville State (D-II – NC) defensive coordinator / defensive back coach Errick Hargrove has joined the staff as associate head coach / defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach and recruiting Coordinator. Hargrove served as the defensive coordinator at Virginia State from 2006-2013.
Minnesota State-Mankato (D-II): Head coach Todd Hoffner has announced that Simpson College (D-III – IA) offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach / assistant head coach Joe Beschorner has been appointed interim offensive coordinator.
Wayne State (D-II – MI): Ohio Northern (D-III) co-offensive coordinator / receivers coach EJ Henderson will join the Wayne State staff and coach the receivers, taking over for Alex Bailey, who recently accepted the wide receivers job at Ball State. Henderson previously coached the receivers at Wayne State from 2004-2006, and has previous stops at Urbana (D-II – OH), Davidson (FCS – NC), Mount Union (D-III – OH), and Lousville.
Mesa Community College (JC – AZ): Shawn Gloden has been hired to coach the offensive line and will also serve as run game coordinator. Gloden was an assistant at Skyline HS (AZ) last season. Also, Mike Welch, who has coached the offensive line and served as assistant offensive coordinator since 2012, will move to quarterbacks coach and be co-offensive coordinator.

Cincinnati: Tommy Tuberville has hired Doug Rosfeld as the program’s director of player development. Rosfeld has spent the past nine years teaching at Cincinnati Moeller HS (OH), and coached the Rugby team to four straight state title appearances and a state title in 2010.

Ursinus College (D-III – PA): Defensive coordinator Marc Lordi has been announced as the new head coach at Notre Dame HS (Lawrenceville, NJ). Lordi is a 2006 grad of NDHS.
New Mexico Highlands (D-II): Joe Bever has been announced as the program’s new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Bever spent the last two seasons as the wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator at Indiana State (FCS).
Davidson (FCS – NC): Per source, David Parrott has been promoted to defensive backs coach and running backs coach Diauntae Morrow has added the title of special teams coordinator.

Seattle Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks have added three guys to their coaching staff in Dwaine Board (assistant DL), and Chris Cash and Andre Curtis (assistant secondary). Board spent last season coaching at St. Francis HS (Mountain View, CA), Cash coached the safeties at Florida A&M the past two seasons, and Curtis was an assistant secondary coach for the Saints the past three seasons.
Carl Pelini: Carl Pelini, who is now the defensive line coach at Youngstown State, has filed a lawsuit against his former assistant at FAU who was one of two people that reported that he had seen Pelini use illegal drugs.
Methodist University (D-III – NC): Methodist University is looking for a full-time assistant football coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. College coaching experience required. Demonstrated ability in recruitment of student-athletes (Division III experience preferred). Mendez spent the past two seasons at Ellsworth CC (IA) coaching the offensive line.
