Southwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Southwestern Oklahoma State University is looking to hire an Offensive Graduate Assistant (RB/TE). Previous playing and coaching experience is preferred, bachelor’s degree required. Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Anticipated start date is June 2017 however those available for spring ball will get priority consideration. Graduate Assistant will be responsible for their own position group, recruiting territory, film breakdown, and all duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. Malone (D-II – OH): Malone University in Canton is looking for a game on September 9, 2017 due to Saint Joseph closing. Need home game but willing to offer guarantee including tour of Pro Football Hall of Fame. Email cnorrick@malone.edu if interested.

Wisconsin-Stevens Point (D-III): UWSP is seeking candidates for a graduate assistant football coach. This coach will have their own position group, recruiting territory and special team responsibilities. Will have other duties associated with being a full time coach. This position includes a $12,000 stipend, no housing, no meals and no tuition. Position will be expected to enroll in at least one graduate OR undergraduate level class per semester.   Minority candidates encouraged to apply. San Francisco: The 49ers are hiring John Benton as their offensive line coach reports Alex Marvez. Benton, the former Dolphins, Texans, Rams, etc… offensive line coach, served as assistant offensive line coach for the Jaguars this past season and had been planning to join the Broncos staff as assistant offensive line coach.

Louisville: Former Memphis offensive line grad assistant Nick Gilbert is joining the Louisville staff in the same capacity source tells FootballScoop.

Charlotte: With Joe Tereshinsk resigning, the 49ers have announced outside linebackers coach Ulrick Edmonds will take over as recruiting coordinator.

Florida State: Source tells FootballScoop the Seminoles are adding Southern Miss offensive line grad assistant AJ Antonescu in the same capacity. Antonescu played his college ball at Memphis, finishing up under Justin Fuente’s leadership. He previously coached tight ends at Alcorn State for a season before joining the Southern Miss staff for this past season.

North Texas: The Mean Green have hired Chuck Langston as offensive line coach, sources tell FootballScoop. Langston was previously the offensive line coach at Lamar and as a head coach at the high school and junior college level in Texas.

Hawaii: Cal Poly defensive backs coach Jacob Yoro will be the new safeties coach at Hawaii sources tell FootballScoop.

Notre Dame: Notre Dame is seeking to hire a Graphic Design & Social Media intern to work solely within it’s Football Recruiting Department. This is a full time, on-campus position with benefits. The focus of this position will be creating digital graphics for recruiting purposes but will also assist in the execution of our social media strategic plan for football recruiting. Boston College: Athletics director Brad Bates has resigned his post, effective at the end of the athletic year, to join Collegiate Sports Associates.

Charlotte: Word has been circulating that Charlotte receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Joe Tereshinski III was stepping down. This morning a local report “confirms” that Joe is leaving the program. With Dean Hood recently leaving for a position at Kentucky, this leaves two openings on the offensive side of the ball at Charlotte.

North Texas: UNT is set to hire Marc Yellock as defensive line coach, FootballScoop can confirm. The news was first reported by Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle. Yellock previously coached the defensive line for East Carolina.

Auburn: Source tells FootballScoop, Arizona State offensive grad assistant Graham Craig is joining the Auburn staff filling the spot of Austin Tucker who accepted a similar position at Memphis.

Gardner Webb: North Greenville defensive backs graduate assistant, Bennett Houston, has been named the director of football operations / assistant coach at Gardner Webb University.

Auburn: Source tells FootballScoop Auburn defensive backs grad assistant Ishmael Aristide will join the Ole Miss staff as an analyst.

Virginia Tech: AD Whit Babcock will make a minimum of $996,750 in 2017 as part of his new contract, according to David Teel of the Daily Press.

Centre College (D-III – KY): Per source, Huntingdon College (D-III – AL) offensive coordinator Ben Fox is the new offensive coordinator at Centre College. Last year, Fox led the Hawks to achieve an average of over 500 yards per game and 45 points a game. As well as leading Division III in 3rd down efficiency.

Langston (NAIA – OK): We’re told Rod Taylor has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Langston. He was previously at Del Rio High School in Texas.

Southwest (CC – MS): East Central CC linebackers coach Derek Welch will be the defensive backs coach at Southwestern.

Southwestern Assemblies of God (NAIA – TX): Offensive coordinator Paul Hansen has accepted the head coaching job at Parkview High School in Missouri.
