Alabama: Carolina Panthers assistant Sal Sunseri has joined Nick Saban's staff at Alabama.  Sunseri will coach the inside linebackers..

Kentucky State: We hear there is an offensive line job open.  More positions could come open on both sides of the ball soon.

Indianapolis Colts: Reports are that defensive coordinator Ron Meeks will not return.

Oakland Raiders: Kelly Skipper has been named running backs coach.  Lionel Washington will coach the defensive backs.

Oklahoma State: Miami defensive coordinator Bill Young is expected to decide soon on an offer to become the defensive coordinator at Oklahoma State. 

South Carolina: We hear Ray Rychleski has spoken with Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Caldwell about a position on the Colts' staff.

Southern Virginia: Our sources tell us head coach Mike Smith has resigned to take a job at Olympus High School in Utah.

UCONN: Akron offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Joe Moorhead will accept the offensive coordinator position at UCONN.

USC: Recently hired quarterbacks coach Carl Smith has joined the Cleveland Browns staff.  Former Denver Broncos assistant Jeremy Bates is the new offensive coordinator / quarterbacks / play caller.

Alabama:  Sources tell FootballScoop that Alabama has hired Carolina Panthers defensive line coach Sal Sunseri.

USC:  Sources tell FootballScoop that USC has hired Jeremy Bates as offensive coordinator.  Bates was the OC with the Denver Broncos.  

South Carolina:  As FootballScoop previously reported, South Carolina has hired Jay Graham as their running backs coach.

Southern Miss:  We hear Southern Miss has hired former Miss. St. coach Pat Washington to coach the running backs.

Notre Dame:  We hear Tony Alford, who previously served at Louisville, will become the next running backs coach at Notre Dame.  

Illinois St.:  We hear Luke Huard, Washington GA, will join the staff at Illinois St. as the quarterbacks coach.
