Indiana: Mark Hagen, who spent the past three seasons at Texas A&M, has rejoined the Indiana staff as defensive line coach, the school has announced.

California: Jake Spavital will get a two-year deal as Cal’s offensive coordinator, according to Bruce Feldman.

Big Sky Conference: Commissioner Doug Fullerton has announced his retirement, effective June 30.

Taylor (NAIA – IN): Defensive coordinator Avante Mitchell has resigned his position at Taylor to remain in Southeast Michigan with his family to pursue other opportunities within the coaching profession, per source.

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III): This is a full-time 10 month position with full benefits. This position will serve as offensive coordinator and strength coach for the football team. Marshall: Youngstown State running backs coach Pepe Pearson has accepted the same staff at Marshall according to SI.

Michigan: Flanagan (FL) High School head coach Devin Bush, Sr., is “on the verge” of joining Jim Harbaugh’s staff according to the Miami Herald.

Notre Dame: Notre Dame is seeking to add an additional grad assistant on offense and defense. Experienced coaches who have coached college football before and handled their own position group are encouraged to apply. Also, knowledge of software used in the coaching profession is highly valued for these positions. Scoop him up: Detrick Belvin spent last season as the director of recruiting / NFL liaison and assistant secondary coach at Tulane under former head coach Curtis Johnson. At Tulane, Belvin worked primarily with the corners, but he also has experience as a defensive assistant at Long Island University as a defensive assistant working with the entire defensive backfield. His playing experience includes time at Rhode Island University and Eastern Kentucky. Belvin has worked alongside highly regarded coaches like Curtis Johnson, Lionel Washington, Jon Sumrall, Danny Hope, Keith Williams, Mike Neu, and Jason Rollins, among others. Northern State (D-II – SD): Per source, Matt Racowschi has been hired to coach the secondary. Racowschi has been a graduate assistant with the program the past two seasons. He takes the position vacated by Kraig Paulson, who took the defensive coordinator position at Southern Illinois last month.

San Francisco 49ers: Keanon Lowe, a former analyst with the Eagles, has joined the staff as an offensive analyst per Adam Caplan of ESPN. Also, Alex Marvez adds that former Eagles assistant linebackers coach Brian Smith has joined the staff as a defensive assistant.

James Madison (FCS – VA): De’Rail Sims, who coached the running backs at Western Carolina (FCS) the past three seasons, has been hired to coach the running backs at JMU. Also, Jeff Hanson, who coached the defensive line at Virginia State last season, has joined the staff in the same capacity. Hanson previously coached the defensive line at JMU in 2013.

Louisiana-Monroe: Former UTEP defensive coordinator Scott Stoker is joining Matt Viator’s staff, per SI.

Robert Morris (NAIA – IL): Robert Morris University is accepting applications for two offensive and two defensive graduate assistant positions. Prior coaching or playing experience for the position applied is required. A bachelor’s degree, 2.8 undergraduate GPA (or a 500 GMAT score), and admission to the Robert Morris Graduate School of Management is required. A 50% tuition waiver along with a $5,000 stipend will be provided. These positions will remain open until filled. Kentucky: Newly hired receivers coach Lamar Thomas will make $275,000 in his first season at UK, and $300,000 in year two, per the Courier Journal. Thomas made $200,000 annually last season at Louisville.

Tennessee: Jacksonville State special teams assistant Ryan West has joined the Tennessee staff in a special teams quality control role, per source.

North Coast Heat (Australia): The North Coast Heat in the NGL (American Pro Football League in Australia) has two coaching spots remaining; defensive coordinator (secondary or LB’s) and running backs coach. UConn: Erik Campbell has been formally announced as receivers coach. Campbell was a recruiting coordinator for Michigan last season.
