Charlotte: Charlotte could be looking for a head coach in the near future. The school's board of trustees voted on Thursday to accept chancellor Philip Dubois' recommendation that Charlotte move forward with starting a football program by 2013. But the unanimous vote came with qualifications: the school must raise about $45 million to pay for coaches, scholarships and a 12,000-seat on-campus stadium.

West Virginia Wesleyan: Bill Struble has been relieved of his duties as the head football coach. In 25 years, Struble won three conference championships in 9 years between 1995 and 2003 including back to back titles in 2002 and 2003. The Bobcats went 1-9 this year.
