Auburn: As expected, Auburn tight ends coach Steve Ensminger will direct the offense the rest of the season. Coach Tommy Tuberville has announced that Ensminger will not, however, be a candidate to become the Tiger's offensive coordinator after the season. Ensminger has been around the block, having coached at LA Tech, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Clemson. He initially coached the quarterbacks when hired at Auburn in 2003.

UT-Chattanooga: The rumblings have begun at UT-Chattanooga. A decision has not yet been made on the future of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football coach Rodney Allison, athletic director Rick Hart said Monday, two days after the Mocs lost 52-28 at home to Georgia Southern to fall to 1-5. Six games into his sixth season, Allison has an overall record of 17-45 at UTC. Allison is in the final year of his contract, and time is running short for any marked improvement over last year's two-win season. "I'm not going to commit one way or the other," Hart said. "I'm just going to do what I think is best for the program. I don't have any preconceived timetables at this point."
