Bowling Green: Chris Kingston has been named athletic director. Kingston previously served as the executive senior associate director of athletics at NC State.

East Tennessee State: Former Appalachian State head coach Jerry Moore has expressed interest in the head coaching job according to the Johnson City Press.

Montreal Alouettes: General Manager Jim Popp has made a few hires in his personnel department. Defensive assistant Jean-Marc Edme has been reassigned and will now serve as a college and pro scout. Also, Justin Casey has been added as the senior player personnel executive and former St. Louis Rams and Cleveland Browns scout Russ Lande has been named director of college scouting. 

Sam Houston State: Running backs coach Anthony Johnson will work with the San Francisco 49ers as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program.

SMU: Special teams coordinator Frank Ganz Jr. has left the staff. The move was first reported by PonyStampede.com.

West Alabama: Head coach Will Hall has announced that former Houston defensive line coach Carlton Hall has joined the staff and will coach the defensive line.

Tennessee State: Sources tell us that running backs coach Kevin Mashack has accepted a scouting position with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Savannah State (FCS - GA): Hampton offensive coordinator Earnest Wilson III has been introduced as the program's new head coach.

Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Bluefield College assistant Chris Shultz has accepted the running backs job at Kentucky Christian.

Iowa: Graduate assistant Kelvin Bell has accepted a position with the Minnesota Vikings through the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship.

East Mississippi (CC): Sources tell us that St. Augustine HS (New Orleans, LA) defensive coordinator DeCarlos Holmes has accepted the defensive line job.

Mount Ida College (D-III - MA): Mount Ida College in Newton, MA seeks applications for the position of Wide Receivers Coach for the upcoming season. This is a seasonal position paying $3,000. There are no housing or other benefits for this position, so applicants should live in the Boston area. Past experience playing or coaching is required. Denver Broncos running backs coach Eric Studesville lost both of his parents in a motorcycle accident Tuesday. Please keep coach Studesville in your prayers.

North Dakota: Chris Mussman announced two new hires earlier today. Mike Cunningham, Minnesota State's offensive line coach, joins the staff as offensive line coach and Jason Thier, Montana Western's defensive coordinator, has accepted the outside linebackers job. 

Florida State: The Seminoles' assistant football strength and conditioning coach Joe Danos has left to take an assistant position with the New York Giants. 

Carroll University (D-III - WI): Carroll has added a few new coaches to the staff. Jeff Schneider will serve as a defensive assistant and coach the special teams, AJ Raebel (former All American linebacker at UW-Whitewater) will coach the linebackers, Mike Haar will coach the defensive line, and Justin Davis will serve as an offensive assistant.

St. Anselm (D-II - MA): Saint Anselm College is seeking two volunteer football interns (one on offense, one on defense). No stipend or benefits available. Applicants from the New Hampshire, or Boston area are strongly encouraged to apply. Interns will be involved in all aspects of the program including field set up, video editing, data entry, recruiting, and opponent / self-scouting. Yale: Stony Brook running backs coach Patrick Hatch has joined the staff at Yale and will coach the tight ends.

Gardner Webb: Offensive line coach Kenneth Ray has accepted a Bill Walsh Minority internship with the Detroit Lions for the summer.

Western State (D-II - CO): Western State is seeking applicants for the position of wide receivers coach. This is a 12 month Restricted Earnings position with no benefits ranging from $12k - $15k. East Tennessee State: Local reports put Carl Torbush as the leading candidate for the East Tennessee State job saying he was on campus earlier this week meeting with school officials. Torbush served as the defensive coordinator at Liberty last season and had announced his retirement earlier this year. 

South Dakota: Outside linebackers coach Marquice Williams has accepted the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship with the Chicago Bears.

College of William and Mary: Receivers coach David Corley will work with the Carolina Panthers as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program.

Florida State: AD Randy Spetman is stepping down as athletic director, moving into new role as a senior advisor for the department. Senior Associate AD Vanessa Fuchs will serve as the interim athletic director.

LSU: Duke defensive quality control Leon Wright will join the LSU staff. 

Arizona Cardinals: Quarterbacks coach Freddie Kitchens underwent heart surgery earlier today and we hear that surgery went well. Please continue to keep coach Kitchens' family in your thoughts.

Louisburg College (JC - NC): Louisburg College, a private Christian junior college in East-Central NC, is seeking a Head Strength Coach / Defensive Line Coach. Applicants must be high energy, have experience in weight room direction (techniques and safety), & uploading and downloading HUDL. Austin Peay: Central Michigan deputy director of athletics Derek van der Merwe has been introduced as the new athletic director at Austin Peay.

Preference given to those candidates with coaching or playing experience with the defensive line. $6,000 stipend (9 months), access to inexpensive housing (250/mo including utilities) and meal plan but no other benefits. Colorado Mesa (D-II): Jim Heaps has been named assistant athletic director for student success, and has stepped down from his post as head basketball coach.

Sacred Heart (FCS - CT): Interim head coach Mark Nofri has been promoted to head coach. Nofri has nearly 20 years of experience on the Sacred Heart staff, and spent last season as the interim head coach for Paul Gorham, who took a medical leave of absence last year.

Cortland State (D-III - NY): Defensive coordinator Ola Adams has accepted the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching internship with the Chicago Bears.

Florida A&M: Athletic director Derek Horne has been let go and the school is searching for a new athletic director.
