The school has also announced John Baxter will add tight ends to his special teams duties, and James Cregg will continue to assist the offensive line. "I felt it was critical to have two coaches working with this group," Lane Kiffin said. 

Sierra College (JC - CA): Sources tell us Citrus College offensive coordinator Ben Noonan has accepted the head coaching job at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. 

Buffalo Bills: The Bills announced today they have signed assistant general manager Doug Whaley to a contract extension. 

Oklahoma: Sources tell us Oklahoma has hired Michigan defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery to the same position. 

SMU: Offensive line coach Bob Palcic plans to retire according to Bill Nichols of the Dallas Morning News.

Washington Redskins: The team has announced the promotion of offensive assistant Mike McDaniel to wide receivers coach.

Auburn: BC Rain HS (AL) head coach Brent Dearmon has accepted an off-the-field job at Auburn according to multiple outlets.

Defensive coordinator Paul Darragh will serve as interim head coach for the 2013 season and Chet Henicle will serve as interim defensive coordinator. A national search will take place later this year for a permanent replacement.

University of Redlands (D-III - CA): Sources tell us Kiyoshi Harris will not return to the staff. We've heard; but haven't confirmed, that he has accepted a position at Chaffey College. 

UAB: Sources confirm to us that Albany receivers coach Eric Evans is joining the staff at UAB. 

Dean College (JC - MA): Head coach Todd Vasey has announced a number of changes to his coaching staff today. New staff members include; Jon Gendron (defensive coordinator, secondary), Will Mulvaney (defensive line), Jay Monteiro (linebackers). In addition offensive coordinator Matt Chapman will add the title of associate head coach, Bret Angel will transition to (strength and conditioning, Tackles and tight ends), and Jason Briggs will transition to (tailbacks). Matt Levasseur (corners), Anthony Baskerville (receivers), and Chad Jordan (defensive ends) will remain in their previous capacities.

Jireh Prep Academy (College Prep - NC): Jireh Prep Academy in Matthews, N.C., has two openings: one for a seasonal linebackers coach and one for a seasonal offensive line coach. Offensive line coach must be knowledgeable in spread offense and coached in a no-huddle scheme. Positions will start in July and run through December; includes $5,000 stipend, gym membership, and paid housing.  Duties to include but not limited to coaching position, film breakdown, helping with curfew checks, assist in the strength and conditioning center, and any other duties that may be assigned by the head coach or defensive coordinator. Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Corners coach Edward Dillon will not return to the staff. We hear he has accepted a position on the staff at Edna Karr HS in New Orleans. 

Kutztown University (D-II - PA): Kutztown University is seeking applicants for an assistant coaching position, preferably a coach with defensive backs experience. Two years coaching and recruiting experience, along with a master's degree, is preferred. New Mexico State: Doug Martin has announced the hiring of Zane Vance as inside linebackers coach. Vance occupied the same position under Martin while at Kent State. He was the head coach at The Master's Academy in Oviedo, Fla., in 2012. Will Martin coaches the outside linebackers. 

Florida International: FIU has announced the hiring of Jason Brooks as defensive backs coach. This completes Ron Turner's coaching staff. 

West Virginia: Multiple reports out of West Virginia state that Stanford offensive tackles / tight ends coach Ron Crook will be the new offensive line coach at WVU. Sources close to the situation tell us that this is expected; but hasn't been finalized yet. Will update...

Merrimack College (D-II - MA): Sources tell us offensive coordinator Dan Curran has been promoted to head coach. 

Iowa: Sources tell us both Valdosta State defensive coordinator Seth Wallace and Minnesota Vikings assistant special teams coordinator Chris White interviewed for a position with Iowa.

Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Coach Charlie Stubbs has announced the hiring of Steve Adams as the special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach.  Adams previously served as Co-Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Backs and Recruiting Coordinator at Concord University in West Virginia. Further, Matt Clark has been promoted from tight ends coach to offensive line coach.

Chicago Bears: 24/7 sports is reporting that Mike Groh is leaving Alabama to join the Bears' staff. 

Alabama: 24/7 is also reporting that Billy Napier will leave Florida State to return to Alabama as receivers coach. 

East Carolina: The school has a contract extension in the works for head coach Ruffin McNeill according to CBSSports.com. The deal should be finalized upon the hiring of ECU's new athletic director. 

Auburn: Carver HS (Columbus, GA) coach Dell McGee, a former Tiger, has been hired in an off-the-field role according to Bryan Matthews of Auburn's 247 site.  

Texas: Mack Brown announced today that they will hire a director of player personnel. 

James Madison (FCS): Sources tell us that Hal Mumme has declined the opportunity to join the James Madison staff. Update> Multiple sources tell us Mumme was contacted very recently and is now expected to take over as offensive coordinator at a BCS program. Expect an announcement next week we're hearing. 

Jamestown College (NAIA - ND): Jamestown College, located in Jamestown, ND, has an immediate opening for a full-time coaching position, with benefits.  Preference will be given to those with offensive line or offensive coaching experience. Southwest Mississippi (CC): Jamie Everett has been hired as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach. Everett previously served as an assistant at North Pike HS (MS), and Madison Central HS (MS). Also, defensive backs coach Donald Dykes has been retained.

Jim Harbaugh is already making his mark. This time it's on the NFL rule book.

Sul Ross State (D-III - TX): On Monday Sul Ross announced the two finalists for the head coach / AD position; Smithson Valley HS (TX) head coach and athletic director Larry Hill, and John Carroll University associate head coach Ronald Dolciato. Earlier today, My SA High Schools' twitter account reported that Hill has removed his name from consideration. We presume that makes Dolciato the front-runner for the position. We will keep you posted.

Louisiana Tech: According to Greg Auman, Skip Holtz's contract (which will go in front of the board next week for approval) is a five year deal and calls for a base salary of $200,000 plus a $300,000 supplement each year. South Florida is still paying Holtz $500,000 per season. If he leaves before the end of the 2014 season he must pay LA Tech $1 million and if he leaves before the end of 2017, he has to pay back $500,000. Incentives include $25,000 for a bowl game, $25,000 for a conference title, and $100,000 for a BCS bowl.

Houston Texans: Former NFL defensive tackle Jeff Zgonina has joined the staff as an assistant defensive line coach.

Colorado State: Longtime NFL assistant Art Valero has been added to the staff and will coach the tight ends. Also, offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin will add the title of quarterbacks coach and linebackers coach Tim Skipper will add the assistant head coach title. Valero most recently served as the offensive line coach for the Titans in 2011.

Menlo College (NAIA - CA): Menlo college, in Atherton, CA, is now accepting applications for head coach. Worcester Polytechnic (MA): Sources tell us that Galen Holmes is leaving his post as the special teams coordinator / defensive tackles coach at Assumption College (D-II - MA) to take the defensive line job at WPI.

LSU: Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has signed a 3 year deal and will make $600,000 in his first year, $1.3 million in year two and $1.5 million in year three...an average of about $1.13 million per year over the 3 years. We put his deal in perspective here.

Dallas Cowboys: David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports that secondary coach Jerome Henderson will remain with the Cowboys as a part of Monte Kiffin's defensive staff. Moore also notes that linebackers coach Matt Eberflus interviewed well with Monte and that he will likely be retained as well.

Capital University (D-III - OH): Capital seeks an intern assistant football coach (wide receivers). Intern will be primary position coach for wide receivers in a triple option offense. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing/coaching wide receivers and at least 1 year of collegiate coaching experience. USC: CBSSports.com is reporting that Lane Kiffin has hired Mike Summers as offensive line coach. Summers previously served as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Kentucky, and had since joined Bobby Petrino's staff at Western Kentucky. Bruce Feldman is reporting that James Cregg, who previously served as offensive line coach, will remain on staff.

Cincinnati: According to SB Nation, Illinois defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale has reportedly taken the same position at Cincinnati.

Dodge City (CC - KS): Sources tell us that former Western Illinois receivers coach Gunnard Twyner has taken the receivers job at Dodge City CC.

Louisiana College (D-III): Louisiana College is looking for opponents for their Junior Varsity Football Schedule for the 2013 season. Texas State: The school will hire Gordy Shaw as offensive line coach according to Brent Thibodeaux of BobcatReport.com. Shaw spent the 2012 season as the run game coordinator/offensive line coach at Idaho. 

University of Sioux Falls (D-II - SD): Sources tell us that Evangel (NAIA - MO) defensive line coach / defensive coordinator Tremaine Jackson has accepted the defensive line job.

Georgia Southern (FCS): Sources tell us Valdosta State (D-II) co-defensive coordinator / defensive line Earl Chambers (Updated) is a strong candidate to be the new defensive line coach at Georgia Southern but the decision hasn't been finalized at this time. 

USC: At USC, sources tell us, as Ryan Abraham reported this morning, that Lane Kiffin would like to hire Pat Hill (offensive line coach with the Falcons, former head coach at Fresno State) as offensive line. We continue to believe Clay Helton will be, and should be, named offensive coordinator. Will update...

New York Giants: Sources tell us that Robbie Leonard will join the Giants' staff as defensive quality control. Leonard served on Tom O'Brien's staff at NC State. 

Princeton: Sources tell us Trevor Powers (Rutgers - Player Development) will join the Princeton staff as linebackers coach. We also hear that Steve Verbit and Jim Salgado will both assume the co-defensive coordinator role. 

Montreal Alouettes: Sources tell us that former Iowa assistant Erik Campbell and Menlo College (NAIA - CA) head coach Mark Speckman will join Dan Hawkins' staff in Montreal.

Albion (D-III - MI): Head coach Craig Rundle has announced the addition of Albion grad Steve Wasil as quarterbacks coach. Wasil was a decorated player at Albion, and has spent the past couple seasons playing in the Arena League, most recently as the quarterback for the Tampa Bay Storm.

Stonehill College (D-II - MA): Stonehill seeks an intern assistant football coach (Defensive Line). Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing/coaching Defensive Line, 1 year of collegiate coaching experience, and have ties to the Northeast Region. Albany (FCS - NY): Drew Christ has been promoted from defensive backs to defensive coordinator. Mike Simpson will now focus on the linebackers. 

Rutgers: Ron Prince will be the new offensive coordinator and Dave Cohen has been officially named defensive coordinator. Anthony Campanile has been promoted to a full-time offensive assistant and Norries Wilson has added the title of assistant head coach. Prince, the former Kansas State head coach, joins the staff after serving as assistant offensive line coach for the Jaguars the past two seasons. 

Syracuse: Sources tell us Ohio University defensive backs coach Fred Reed is joining the Syracuse staff. At Ohio, we hear they have already identified their candidates for the position. 

Marshall: Former Temple defensive line coach Sean Cronin has joined the Marshall staff according to Chuck Landon of the Herald-Dispatch.
