Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA): Head coach Dave Dallas has stepped down after 17 seasons at the helm. Dallas notched 94 victories during his time in Salina. A national search to find his replacement will begin immediately.

Nebraska-Kearney: Sources tell us that Mesa CC (AZ) special teams coordinator / receivers coach Matt Miller has accepted the receivers job at Nebraska-Kearney.

USC: Steve Sarkisian has confirmed that Clay Helton will be retained, and also noted today that he plans to make another run at bringing back Ed Orgeron.

Army: Sources tell us that Jeff Monken will be Army's next head coach. Monken has served as the head coach at Georgia Southern since November of 2009, compiling a 38-16 record. Army beat writer Sal Interdonato says that the details of the contract are being worked out but official word of the hire may not come until Thursday or Friday (holiday week). Here's what you need to know.

Penn State: According to Adam Schefter, a representative of Bill O'Brien recently reached out to Penn State in an effort to lower his buyout for leaving for an NFL team. Schefter notes that last summer O'Brien's contract was reworked from from a $19.33 million buyout down to $6.48 million for this year.

Oakland Raiders: Owner Mark Davis recently rejected an offer to extend the contracts of the assistant coaches who are in the last year of their deal, according to a report from Adam Schefter.

Boise State: Julius Brown, who coached the corners last year at Arkansas State, has joined Bryan Harsin's staff, according to Bruce Feldman.

USC: Multiple outlets are reporting that offensive coordinator Clay Helton will stay on the staff at USC. 

Boise State: Boise State has officially announced the hiring of Kent Riddle (running backs/special teams), Steve Caldwell (defensive line) and Brian Wilkinson (DFO). 

Bowling Green: We understand the staff at Bowling Green is now complete. All of Babers' staff from EIU (including DFO & head strength coach) are coming with the exception of Dino Kaklis and Chanterius Brock. Those two positions will be filled with staff retained from Clawson's staff (see below). 

FAU: Villanova defensive line / special teams coordinator Roc Bellantoni has accepted the same position on Charlie Partridge's staff at FAU. 

Central Arkansas: Gulf Coast wide receivers coach Pete Bennett has accepted the same position on Steve Campbell's staff. 

Florida: Florida has confirmed that Jeff Choate is no longer part of the staff. 

North Carolina Central (FCS): Michael Bryan (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Roy Jones (running backs/DFO), Lamar Mangio (wide receivers), Arnaldo Revuelta (tight ends), Dwayne Foster (interim head coach/recruiting coordinator/offensive line), Rod Milstead (assistant offensive line), John Morgan (defensive coordinator/linebackers) and Antoine Rivens (defensive line) all have been told they were not retained by new head coach Jerry Mack. 

Bowling Green: Sources tell us defensive backs coach Nick Monroe and defensive line coach Larry McDaniel are staying at Bowling Green and running backs coach/recruiting coordinator John Hunter will join Dave Clawson at Wake Forest.

Orange Coast College (JC - CA): The Pirates are in search of a new head coach, but existing head coach Mike Taylor will remain on staff, athletics director Michael Sutliff said Friday.

Stephen F. Austin: Here are the staff members we have following Clint Conque from Central Arkansas to SFA: defensive coordinator Matt Williamson, wide receivers coach Matt Kubik, defensive line coach Dan Augustine, offensive line coach Bill Best and running backs coach Jeremy Hammock, according to the Log Cabin Democrat.

Central Arkansas: New head coach Steve Campbell will earn a salary of $185,000 a year over four years, with a buyout of $100,000 for the first two years and $200,000 if he leaves for a fellow Southland Conference school. Campbell will interview staff holdovers Dave Wheeler (defensive backs), Brooks Hollingsworth (offensive coordinator/tight ends), Seth Allison (defensive backfield assistant) and Robert Cunningham (DFO/recruiting coordinator). Quarterbacks coach Nathan Brown has already accepted an offer to remain on Campbell's staff. 

FAU: Brian Wright has accepted Charlie Partridge's offer to stay on staff as offensive coordinator, and offensive line coach Luke Meadows will likely be retained as well, according to Dieter Kurtenback. We hear that University School head coach Roger Harriott has an offer to join the staff as well, but we have not confirmed.

Arkansas State: Sources tell us that Arkansas quality control coach Brian Early will join Blake Anderson's staff where he will coach the safeties.

Pittsburgh: Head strength and conditioning coach Todd Rice has been dismissed. 

Castleton State (D-III - VT): Head coach Marc Klatt has resigned after three seasons.

Former Mississippi State head coach/athletics director and Oklahoma athletics director Wade Walker passed away Thursday at age 90. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. 

College of the Canyons (JC - CA): Interim head coach Ted Iaceneda has been named the program's full-time head coach. 

Mississippi Gulf Coast (JC): Offensive coordinator Chad Huff has been promoted to head coach following Steve Campbell's departure for Central Arkansas, the school announced Friday. 

Ottawa Redblacks (CFL): The expansion Redblacks announced their inaugural coaching staff on Friday: head coach Rick Campbell, offensive coordinator Mike Gibson, defensive coordinator Mark Nelson, special teams coordinator/running backs coach Don Yanowsky, quarterbacks coach Marcus Crandell, wide receivers coach Travis Moore, defensive backs coach Ike Charlton, offensive assistant Jordan Maksymic and defensive assistant Derek Oswalt. 

Army: Ohio State co-offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Ed Warriner interviewed for the head coaching job today, according to Jeremy Fowler of CBSSports.com, and New York Jets special teams coordinator Ben Kotwica will interview this weekend, according to Adam Schefter. 

James Madison: The university has officially announced Everett Withers as the sixth head coach in program history. Withers will remain with Ohio State through their bowl game.

University of Mary (D-II - ND): Sources tell us former North Dakota defensive coordinator Josh Kotelnicki will be the new head coach at University of Mary. 

Utah: Dave Christensen is joining the Utah staff as offensive coordinator / tight ends. Dennis Erickson will remain on staff and continue to coach the running backs and Brian Johnson will continue to coach the quarterbacks. 

Tennessee State (FCS): Tennessee State University is looking for a game against a FBS or FCS opponent on Saturday September 6, 2014 to complete our 2014 football schedule. Tennessee State is a FCS Institution, that competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. TSU fans have traditionally travelled very well. Arkansas State: Freshly-hired head coach Blake Anderson will garner a salary of $700,000 per year over five years. He can earn bonuses of up to $50,000 for winning a Sun Belt title and coaching in a bowl game and $25,000 for winning a national coach of the year honor. The big item of note is the buyout, which sits at $3 million for each of his first two seasons - nearly double the $1.75 million buyout Bryan Harsin had - $2 million for the 2016-17 seasons and $1 million for the 2018 season. 

Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Southeastern Louisiana is looking for games on August 30th and September 6th of 2014. Looking for home and home or will pay guarantee. Interested programs can contact Jeff Burley at [email protected].

Florida: NC State director of player personnel Drew Hughes has joined the staff at Florida in the same role, the program announced this morning. Hughes, who takes over for Jon Haskins who resigned back in November, worked at UCF as director of player personnel prior to NC State.

Hastings College (NAIA - NE): Hastings College is currently accepting applications for defensive graduate assistant (defensive line). Acceptance into the Hastings College Graduate Program is a must. Our Graduate Assistant package includes a tuition waiver along with a monthly stipend. Coaching and / or playing experience on the defensive line is preferred. Kansas State: Athletic director John Currie has received a one year contract extension taking him through 2019, and a $100,000 raise. The raise brings his salary for 2013-2014 to $575,000.

Bentley (D-II - MA): The program has announced that Bill Kavanaugh has been named head coach. Kavanaugh is a former player at Bentley and spent the past six seasons at Penn State in various roles, most recently as the director of player personnel.

Sul Ross State (D-III - TX): Sources tell us that John Pearce, former defensive coordinator at Prairie View and Blinn JC, is the new head coach. 

Virginia Union (D-II): Former Florida A&M head coach Joe Taylor is the new athletics director at Virginia Union. 

Florida: The Gators have announced that Coleman Hutzler has joined the staff as the special teams coordinator, and Will Muschamp added that Jeff Choate has resigned to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Stanford: Mike Sanford will remain with the team through the Rose Bowl before departing for Boise State. After the bowl game, Tavita Pritchard (a former Stanford quarterback who coached the running backs this past season) will assume coaching responsibilities for the quarterbacks and receivers.

Birmingham Southern: Sources tell us that South Alabama defensive grad assistant Carter Blount has accepted the defensive backs job.

Alma College (D-III - MI): Sources tell us that offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Nate Cochran will not return next season.

North Carolina Central (FCS): South Alabama receivers coach Jerry Mack has officially been announced as head coach.

Itawamba CC (MS): Sources tell us that offensive coordinator Jason McManus has accepted the offensive coordinator job at South Pointe HS (Rock Hill, SC).

Mississippi Valley State (FCS): Mississippi Valley State University is looking for a home game October 25, 2014. D2 / NAIA will receive guarantee. Florida: Sources tell us that New Mexico special teams coordinator / outside linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler will join the Florida staff.  Hutzler worked with defensive coordinator DJ Durkin at Florida (as a quality control coach), as well as at Stanford. We've been hearing for a few days that Jeff Choate was trying to get back on with Chris Petersen, haven't confirmed that; but sounds like that's what has happened. Will update...

Rhode Island (FCS): Sources, and multiple reports, indicate that Central Florida defensive coordinator Jim Fleming will be Rhode Island's new head coach.

Arizona Christian (NAIA): After 14 years with the Paradise Valley HS (AZ) football program, head coach Donnie Yantis has decided to take the head coaching job at Arizona Christian University, a brand new NAIA program.

Sul Ross State (D-III - TX): Sources tell us that Texas Lutheran co-defensive coordinator Braxton Harris has withdrew from consideration for the head coaching job.

Adams State (D-II - CO): Adams State is looking for a game on September 5th of 2015 (home and home option), or an FCS guarantee. Located in Alamosa, Colorado. Contact Billy Lindquist if interested at [email protected].

Pasadena CC (CA): Running backs coach / recruiting coordinator Cordell Landers has resigned to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Arkansas State: Blake Anderson's buyout is $3 million if he leaves within the first two years, the buyout then drops to $2 million for the next two years and then $1 million (five year deal). His initial salary is $700,000. Will update...

James Madison: Sources tell us that Everett Withers will be the next head coach at James Madison. Withers has spent the past two years at Ohio State as the assistant head coach / co-defensive coordinator, and prior to that was the defensive coordinator at North Carolina for three seasons. Withers served as the interim head coach at UNC during the 2011 season (going 7-5) after Butch Davis was let go.

Calgary Stampeders (Canada): The Stampeders have announced the hiring of Rich Strubler as their new defensive coordinator. Stubler spent the past two seasons running the defense for the BC Lions.

Army: Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan will be interviewed for Army's head coaching job according to Kevin Gleason of the Middletown (N.Y.) Times Herald-Record. Sullivan is a former Army player and assistant.

Idaho State (FCS): Idaho State is looking for a home (contract) game on either September 13th or 20th, 2014. Looking for a Division II or NAIA program. Contact Sheldon Cross at [email protected] if interested.

Emory and Henry (D-III - VA): Former Virginia Tech offensive line coach Curt Newsome will be named head coach at Emory and Henry tomorrow, according to a report from Allen Gregory.

Central Arkansas: Sources tell us to look for Gulf Coast CC offensive coordinator Chad Huff and receivers coach Pete Bennett to join Steve Campbell's staff at UCA.

Northeastern State (D-II - OK): Washburn (D-II - KS) offensive coordinator Rob Robinson has been named head coach at Northeastern State.

Houston Texans: Houston's first interview was with former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith, according to the Houston Chronicle.

James Madison (FCS): Brian Stinespring, John DeFilipo and Everett Withers are finalists for the job according to the Richmond Times Dispatch

Southeast Missouri State: Tom Matukewicz has agreed to a four-year deal (running through January of 2018) worth a base salary of $130,000, with additional compensation up to $57,000 per year.

Pima CC (AZ): Former Buena HS (AZ) head coach Ryan Scherling has joined the staff as offensive coordinator.

Arkansas State: Last night we were told the only person from North Carolina that Blake Anderson definitely was taking to A-State was offensive quality control Keith Heckendorf (likely as quarterbacks coach at A-State). Will confirm later today...

Southern (FCS - LA): Head coach Dawson Odums has reportedly agreed to a new contract a contract extension, keeping him at Southern.

Robert Morris (FCS - PA): Darrin Hicks has been announced as the new offensive coordinator. Hicks most recently served as the quarterbacks coach at St. Augustine University (D-II - NC). Also, Cornelius Coleman has joined the staff and will coach the defensive line.

North Carolina Central (FCS): Sources tell us South Alabama receivers coach Jerry Mack has accepted the head coaching position at NCCU. 

Blinn (JC): Blinn College announced Keith Thomas as their new head coach Wednesday. Thomas, a 35 year coaching veteran, served as the head coach at Navarro College (1994-1997) and spent 13 seasons as a head coach at the high school level in Texas. He most recently served as the Housing Director at Blinn.

FAU: Dan Shula is joining Charlie Partridge's staff as an offensive assistant. Shula most recently coached the receivers at Illinois State.

Arkansas State: UNC offensive coordinator Blake Anderson will be announced as the new head coach at a press conference this afternoon. Anderson will not coach North Carolina in the Belk Bowl.

Central Arkansas: The university has now confirmed that Steve Campbell is the program's new head coach.

College of Idaho (NAIA): Sources tell us that Chris Petrilli, who served as an offensive assistant last season at Charleston Southern working with the receivers and running backs, has joined the staff at the College of Idaho and is serving as defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator.

Sad news to pass along as we understand that former coach Jeff Menage passed away unexpectedly yesterday at the young age of 49. Menage was in the business nearly 20 years, with coaching stops at Minnesota, Murray State, North Dakota and South Dakota State in addition to his quarterback coaching that he did as well for various players. He is missed by many in the profession. Please keep his family in your thoughts. 

FAU: It is being reported that Charlie Partridge has offered Brian Wright the offensive coordinator position. 

Central Arkansas (FCS): Sources tell us late tonight that Mississippi Gulf Coast (CC) head coach Steve Campbell has agreed to become head coach at Central Arkansas. 

Abilene Christian: ACU announced tonight that they have signed head coach Ken Collums to a new four year contract (terms not disclosed). 

Arkansas State: Sources tell us that UNC offensive coordinator Blake Anderson will be the new head coach at Arkansas State. Here's what you need to know

Texas A&M: Co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Jake Spavital has been promoted to offensive coordinator and will take over the play calling duties. Clarence McKinney remains coaching the running backs. 

Arizona State: In connection with his promotion to "deputy head coach" (we're using the term deputy now?), Mike Norvell has received a $200,000 raise, making his new salary $700,000. 

Central Arkansas: According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's Jeremy Muck, multiple sources have stated that Abilene Christian head coach Ken Collums will be named the program's new head coach. Update> Multiple sources have told us that this is not a done deal. It is our understanding that no offer has been made at this time. We will update... 7:45pm Update> Ken Collums has now put out a statement stating that no offer has been made. 

Georgia Southern: Georgia Southern has given Army permission to speak with head coach Jeff Monken. 

Texas: The school has announced that athletics director Steve Patterson has appointed an eight-person advisory committee to find Mack Brown's replacement. Texas has also hired the Korn/Ferry International search firm. 

Boise State: Sources confirm to us that Stanford quarterbacks coach Mike Sanford will join the Boise State staff as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Would expect Sanford to remain with Stanford through the Rose Bowl. 

Bowling Green: Eastern Illinois (FCS) head coach Dino Babers will be the new head coach at Bowling Green per Joe Schad. The school has now announced the hiring. Here's what you need to know.

New Mexico: Tight ends coach Derek Warehime has been promoted to run game coordinator, the school announced today. 

Washington: Boise State quarterbacks coach Jonathan Smith will join Chris Petersen's staff according to Adam Jude of the Seattle Times

Washington: Sources tell us Chris Petersen has offered Fresno State director of football operations Mike McHugh the same position. Updated on DFO Scoop

Boise State: Gerald Alexander, a grad assistant under Bryan Harsin at Arkansas State, will join the staff in a "capacity to be determined" according to Bronco Beat.

Illinois: Tim Beckman announced today that Bill Cubit has agreed to a one-year contract extension that includes a pay increase to $500,000 annually. The extension takes him through the 2015 season. 

Boise State: Multiple outlets are reporting, and we can confirm, that Texas A&M co-defensive coordinator / secondary coach Marcel Yates will join the Boise State staff as defensive coordinator. Yates coached the defensive backs at Boise State for nine seasons until 2011 and also played there.

Kentucky: Mark Stoops announced today that he is working on some "changes and promotions" among his current staff, and plans to keep the staff intact.

Jackson State (FCS): The school has announced that head coach Rick Comegy and his staff will not return.

Arizona State: The program has announced that offensive coordinator Mike Norvell has added the title of "Deputy Head Coach".

UConn: Bob Diaco announced this morning that tight ends coach Mike Foley will be retained.

Rutgers: Mitch Browning has officially joined the staff as offensive line coach.

North Dakota: Sources tell us that both SIU coordinators, Kalen DeBoer and Bubba Schweigert, are finalists for the head job at UND. Will update...

Florida Atlantic: Jovan Dewitt has been retained as FAU's defensive coordinator by Charlie Partridge according to Dieter Kurtenbach of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Earlier in the week Jovan had secured a position at FIU; but looks as if Charlie has convinced him to stay. Good move by Charlie. Update: Tight ends coach Jared Allen has also been retained according to Kurtenbach. Both roles are to be determined. 

University of Mary (D-II - ND): Sources tell us South Dakota (FCS) defensive coordinator Jason Petrino has interviewed at Mary for the head job. 

Adrian College (D-III - MI): Adrian College is looking to fill two open dates for a home and home on September 2nd, 2017 and September 8th, 2018. If interested please email [email protected].

Winnipeg Blue Bombers (Canada): Marcel Bellefeuille has been named offensive coordinator for next season. Bellefeuille joined the club in August, and has previously served as the head coach of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

UConn: Bob Diaco stated this morning that he'll look to complete his staff after the first of the year. Word within the profession is that he won't keep many, if any of the current assistants. Will update... Diaco said this morning that he will retain only Mike Foley. 

Air Force: Former Wake Forest defensive coordinator Brian Knorr is in talks to return to his alma mater as a defensive assistant, according to The Gazette.
