Baylor: Art Briles reportedly has agreed to a contract extension through 2023 today, taking him to age 68. It is being widely reported that Briles will make more than $4 million a year. Here's what you need to know.
Florida: Gators AD Jeremy Foley issued the following statement today: "As athletic director, I'm a thousand percent convinced Will Muschamp is the guy to lead this football program. Nothing has changed in the way we feel about Will Muschamp from the day we hired him." Read the full piece here.
Louisville: Louisville will join the ACC on July 1, 2014. Brett McMurphy of ESPN reports that Louisville will pay $11 million to their current conference, the AAC, as part of the separation agreement.
Selection Committee: The terms for the first ever College Football Playoff Selection Committee have been announced. General Mike Gould, Pat Haden, Tom Osborne and Mike Tranghese will have their term end in February of 2016. Barry Alvarez, Oliver Luck, Archie Manning, and Condoleezza Rice will serve on the committee until February of 2017 and Tom Jernstedt, Jeff Long, Dan Radakovich, Tyrone Willingham and Steve Wieberg's terms expire in 2018.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL): The team has announced that Tim Burke will not return as head coach next season. Burke was in his first full season as head coach after serving as interim head coach midway through last season. Team President and CEO Wade Miller noted that the team is open to exploring the option of Burke serving as an assistant coach in the future.
Maine (FCS): Associate AD for development Seth Woodcock will take over as interim athletics director after current athletics director Steve Abbott steps down on Friday.
Siena Heights (NAIA - MI): Sources tell us offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Jeff Hancock will not return.
Buffalo State (D-III - NY): Buffalo State has opening dates for the 2014 football season. Looking for a game on one of the following dates; 9-13-14 and 10-18-14. We are willing to travel there for the first year then reciprocate with a home game the following season. Looking for games with D3 opponents only. Virginia Tech: Mark Berman of the Roanoke Times is reporting that athletic director Jim Weaver will step down from the AD position on December 31.
Adrian College (D-III - MI): Sources tell us that head coach Jim Deere is adjusting staff assignments and offensive coordinator Chad O'Brien is moving over to the defensive side of the ball.
Florida Atlantic: Interim head coach Brian Wright has promoted offensive line coach Luke Meadows to offensive coordinator.

Kentucky State (D-II): Kentucky State has taken the interim tag off head coach Josh Dean, naming him to the position full-time.
Texas: The UT Board of Regents has approved athletics director Steve Patterson's five year, $7 million contract according to Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com.
Northwest Mississippi CC: Jack Wright, who spent last season as the offensive line coach at Holmes CC, has been named head coach at Northwest CC. Prior to his stint at Holmes CC, Wright spent four seasons as the offensive coordinator at Northwest.
Atlanta Falcons: General manager Thomas Dimitroff said Sunday, "Mike Smith is a hell of a football coach; he's the leader of this team....Mike's going nowhere." Dimitroff's response was a retort to a report from CBS that said Gruden would be interested in the Falcons job were it to open (Falcons are 2-7).

Houston Texans: Gary Kubiak is at the facility today. The NFL Network reports that he is working; but isn't expected to spend a full day at that facility today. Glad to hear he's healthy enough to return to work.

Scout.com: Business Insider is reporting that Fox has sold off underperforming Scout.com to a private equity group led by Jim Heckman.
Valparaiso (FCS): Head coach Dale Carlson was let go today. Valpo was 1-9 this season and 3-40 in four seasons under Carlson. Assistant head coach Mike Gravier will serve as interim head coach for the team's finale against Dayton on Saturday. The school has stated a national search for Carson's replacement will begin immediately.
North Dakota State College of Science (JC): Head coach Chuck Parsons has resigned.

Blinn (JC - TX): Head coach Ronny Feldman has resigned. Feldman was 14-14 in three seasons, including an undefeated regular season in 2011. Defensive coordinator Thomas Rocco will step in as interim head coach.
Eastern Michigan: Ron English has been let go as head coach. Stan Parrish will take over as interim head coach. Here's what you need to know.
Southeastern Louisiana (FCS): Second year head coach Ron Roberts has received a three year extension. Roberts' team is currently 7-2 (4-0 in conference), the best start for Southeastern since 1981.
Denver Broncos: The team has announced that John Fox has been released from the hospital.
USC: In news that a lot of people probably won't find shocking, the LA Daily News is reporting that Kevin Sumlin is currently USC's top target according to their sources (but adds the "search is still in an early stage"). The report adds, as presumably all reports out of LA must, that USC has also reached out to Jon Gruden. The report also mentions Chris Petersen, James Franklin and Jack Del Rio as names most frequently associated with the search and adds Ed Orgeron; but says that Orgeron is "not expected" to get the job. As always, take the report for what its worth and we'll keep you posted.
