Cal lost a game with Arizona State and UCLA lost a game with Utah, and now Cal is playing UCLA.
Rather than watch two healthy teams lose a game, the Pac-12 arranged for the Bears and Bruins to play this Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Rose Bowl. The game will kick at noon ET -- that's 9 a.m. local -- and air on FS1.
The two teams were not scheduled to play this season, which differs from the SEC's policy, but represents the best the conference could do given the circumstances. Cal was at risk of losing two games in a 6-game season due to a single asymptomatic positive costing them a game with Washington last week.
