Western Kentucky has been a proving ground for offensive coordinators the last several seasons.
Offensive coordinators for the Hilltoppers the last few seasons have included Zach Kittley (who left to become the offensive coordinator at Texas Tech) and Ben Arbuckle (who most recently left for the offensive coordinator job at Washington State).
Now, Tyson Helton is reportedly set to hand the keys to the offense to a branch of Mike Leach's Air Raid tree in hopes of continuing their offensive success.
Drew Hollingshead is expected to be the new offensive coordinator at WKU, according to Matt Zenitz.
Hollingshead spent last season as the inside receivers coach for Leach at Mississippi State, and spent the last six seasons learning under the Air Raid icon.
