Baker County (FL): Head coach Jamie Rodgers has shared with his team that he is leaving to coach in Georgia next season, per the Baker County Press. Rodgers won the District 5-5A titles in all three seasons leading the program.
Weeki Wachee (FL): Head coach Jacob Gray has resigned, per Andy Villamarzo.
St. Bloomfield (Biloxi, MS): Head coach Jim Bloomfield has decided to step down, but notes that he does plan to coach somewhere in 2019.
Holmes County (FL): Former longtime Georgia high school head coach Jeff Lee has taken over the head coach and athletic director position. Lee last served as the head coach at North Bay Haven Charter HS (FL).
Grand Valley (OH): Head coach John Glavickas has resigned after seven seasons as head coach, per source.
Green Hope (Cary, NC): Green Hope High School in Cary, NC needs a game for August 23, 2019. One year only. Home or away. Willing to travel out of state for the right situation. Interested programs can contact cgreen5@wcpss.net.
Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC): Legion Collegiate Academy, a new charter school in Rock Hill, SC has hired former South Pointe HS HC Strait Herron as the program’s first head coach, per source. Herron retired from South Pointe immediately after the season.
Columbus Lakeview (NE): Columbus Lakeivew High School has an opening for Assistant Varsity Football. All position coaches are encouraged to apply. There are also several other coaching opportunities. Columbus Lakeview currently has a Physical Education opening. Interested candidates can apply here.
Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX): Gary Thiebaud is retiring after 42 seasons in coaching, the last 17 of which came at Cypress Ridge.
Gloucester (MA): Head coach Tony Zerilli is stepping down after eight seasons and a 51-38 record.
Chelmsford (MA): Dave Kaizer has made the decision to step down.
Dracut (MA): Jay Rivers is stepping down from the head coching job.
Bishop Hendricken (RI):Bishop Hendricken HS is looking for a game on 9/13. Interested program can contact head coach Keith Croft at croft.keith@gmail.com.
Smithfield (VA): Smithfield HS is looking for assistant coaches. All positions will be considered with emphasis on defense. Perspective coaches need to be able to participate in Sping and Summer workouts, 7 on 7, and team functions as necessary. Stranahan (FL): Stranahan HS is looking for (Certified Teachers/Non-Certified Teachers w/ their 3 yr Temporary Certificate) assistant football coaches with previous coaching experience who are student success driven, motivated, and understand the time and effort that is required for growing and maintaining a football program. Teaching positions include Health Science, Math, Social Studies, and possibly other subjects. This is a year-round commitment with the expectation that the ideal candidates will participate in the off-season program, summer conditioning and attend camps and clinics to continue to further their coaching knowledge. We have made great improvements to our facilities by adding a state-of-the-art weight room.
