Legendary Emory & Henry head coach Lou Wacker passed away last Friday. A memorial service will be held Saturday in the Chapel of Emory & Henry College. Coach Wacker led the Wasps to 164 victories in 23 seasons as head coach, including a 37 home game winning streak that lasted from 1991 - 1998. Emory & Henry won 11 conference championships in the 23 years Wacker served as head coach. Please keep Coach Wacker, his family and friends in your prayers.

LSU: We tweeted about this yesterday and Matt Zenitz tweeted about it today...August Mangin, who was a special teams analyst for Alabama this season, is expected to officially join LSU's staff in the coming days.

Louisiana Lafayette: Mike Guiliani, who spent last season as a defensive graduate assistant at Louisville after working for the Jets and Bills, has accepted a graduate assistant role, Adam Rittenberg tweets.

Penn State: Source tells FootballScoop James Franklin is hiring Joe Lorig as his new special teams coordinator. Update> Penn State has now announced the hire.

Florida State: Randy Clements, who has spent ten seasons working alongside new Seminoles offensive coordinator Kendal Briles (most recently at Houston) has formally joined the staff as offensive line coach.

Minnesota Vikings: Christian Jones and AC Patterson have joined the staff as offensvie quality control coach. Patterson spent the last four seasons on staff at Portland State (FCS - OR) while Jones is a former Northwestern player and graduate assistant that spent last season at Texas.

Texas-Texas A&M: It's officially time to admit the only place one of college football's oldest rivalries will exist is on the Internet.

XFL: The XFL has called for a Monday press conference to announce the head coach of its Seattle franchise. There has been speculation, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, that Jim Zorn will be the pick here.

Monroe College (JC-NY): Monroe College Football program is looking to fill two openings on their staff, they are tight end and wide receiver.The compensation for each position is with a seasonal stipend.The candidates need to live in the Tri-States or greater New York Metropolitan area.There is no housing provided.College coaching experience is a plus. Monroe College is a member of the Northeast Football Conference and is located in New Rochelle, NY.Potential candidates should provide a resume with references and cover letter addressed to Head Coach Terry Karg via email at: tkarg@monroecollege.edu. Graceland (NAIA - IA): Source tells FootballScoop Kent Kinkade is expected to join the staff as offensive line / run game coordinator.

Beloit College (D-III - WI): Source tells FootballScoop Beloit College has four finalists for their head coaching position... former Widener (D-III - PA) head coach Mike Kelly, Illinois College (D-III) OC Travis James, Lake Forest (D-III - IL) OC Ted Soenksen, and interim head coach Kevin Canty.

Anna Maria (D-III - MA): Anna Maria College, located in Paxton, MA is accepting applications for multiple position coaches. The (4) Positions are OL, DL, TE & RB/LB. Candidates should have success coaching or playing football, 1– 3 years at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with the NCAA and institutional policies and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree required. The Position will include a Stipend for Spring (Small) and Fall Salary (depending on experience and Position). The position(s) also provides Free Housing (Campus Suite) and a Meal Plan. Two of the Positions offer Graduate Classes. Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Keith Scott, who coached the defensive backs at Eastern Illinois (FCS) last season, has been announced as the nickels coach on staff.

Cincinnati Bengals: Lou Anarumo is joining the staff as defensive coordinator, per multiple reports. The team has announced the hire. Anarumo previously worked with Zac Taylor when the two were with the Dolphins, and spent last season as the defensive backs coach with the Giants. Albert Breer tweets that it's a 3-year deal.

Texas A&M-Kingsville (D-II): Per source, Lubbock Estacado HS (TX) defensive line coach Byron Sanders has accepted the defensive line job. Prior to joining the Lubbock Estacado staff, Sanders coached linebackers at West Texas A&M (D-II).

Washington, D.C. (XFL): Former Michigan passing game coordinator Pep Hamilton has been announced as the Washington, D.C. team's new head coach and general manager. More on the hire here.

Louisiana Lafayette: Former Georgia Tech player Patrick Gamble has accepted a defensive graduate position on staff, per Ken Sugiura. Gamble played defensive line at Georgia Tech and spent some time in the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Jets and Bucs.

Kansas: Former Raiders assistant linebackers and safeties coach Brent Vieselmeyer, who served as an offensive analyst at Kansas last season, has been named head coach at Santa Margarita HS (CA).

Texas: Former Houston cornerbacks coach Paul Williams will join the staff as a defensive analyst, according to Horns247.

Southwest Baptist (D-II - MO): Southwest Baptist is looking for a volunteer assistant who is wanting to get into college coaching. Looking for an individual with a strong work ethic. Open to all applicants but prefer an individual with a defensive back or wide receiver background. Will be coaching own position and running drills. No housing or meals will be provided. This position has the possibility of turning into a stipend position and then into a graduate assistant position. Please send resume to defensive coordinator Marcus Klund at mklund@sbuniv.edu.

Purdue: The Boilermakers have officially announced Greg Brown as their corners coach.

UTSA: Frank Wilson has announced the addition of Rod Wright as defensive line coach. Wright coached the defensive line at ECU in 2018 and prior to that he spent four years at Sam Houston State (FCS - TX).

Tennessee Tech (FCS): Kelsey Pope has joined the staff as wide receivers coach after spending last season as the passing game coordinator / wide receivers coach at Shorter (D-II - GA).

XFL: Commissioner Oliver Luck shares that the league will have the rest of their head coaches in place by the end of March, and shares more of their plans here as well.

Alabama: Source tells FootballScoop Alabama has added two coaches as special teams quality control. Per source, Iowa State special teams coach Joe Houston is joining the staff as is Virginia Tech special teams grad assistant Johnathan Galante.

Arkansas: As we shared last week, Kenny Ingram has now been announced as defensive tackles coach for the Razorbacks. Ingram spent the last two seasons as the director of player relations at Auburn.

Villanova: ASA Miami (JC - FL) head coach Chris Boden is expected to join the Villanova staff as offensive coordinator, per source. Boden played quarterback for the program and is Villanova's all-time leading passer.

Richmond (FCS - VA): Julius McNair has joined the staff as running backs coach. McNair spent the last four seasons coaching the running backs at Hampton (FCS) and Tennessee-Martin (FCS).

Defiance (D-III - OH): Tyler Bolen has joined the staff as quarterbacks and wide receivers coach. Bolen spent last season at Fairmont State (D-II - WV), where he coached the running backs.

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III - IL): Illinois Wesleyan University invites applications for a full-time,10-month position of defensive coordinator. Additional duties as assigned by Head Football Coach and Athletic Director may also include Football Recruiting Coordinator and/or Head Strength Coach for the program. The successful candidate will have 4-5 years experience at the collegiate level or high school head coaching preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: analyze performance and instruct student athletes in defensive game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition; Observe players individually or in groups and demonstrate defensive techniques; recruit student-athletes for incoming first-year class from high schools and community colleges; coordinate all aspects of the football recruiting process; assist head coach with various administrative aspects of the football program; have excellent skills in using technology to enhance football program operations and recruiting. Wyoming: As we reported yesterday, Wyoming has announced the addition of Ohio offensive line coach Bart Miller as their new offensive line coach.

Colorado State: Per source, Arkansas Monticello (D-II) defensive backs coach Bradley Brown is joining the staff as a graduate assistant.

Alabama: The Crimson Tide are to their staff adding another former FBS head coach

Arkansas Baptist (JC):Arkansas Baptist College is looking for a home game for September 14, 2019 in Little Rock, AR. Interested programs are asked to please email head coach Richard Wilson at richard.wilson@arkansasbaptist.edu.

Valley Forge (JC - PA): Valley Forge Military College (JC) Wayne Pa. is looking for a volunteer assistant who is looking to get into coaching. Must be willing to work on fund raising, will coach own position. Local candidates only. Contact head coach Lou Orth at lorth@vfmac.edu.

Georgia: Athletic director Greg McGarity, who has been on the job in Athens for nearly a decade, has received a 1-year contract extension with a raise expected to come soon as well, Dawg Nation shares.
