After extending the NDSU win streak to 25 straight games, Chris Klieman gave the post game speech of the weekend

Chris Klieman went into the NDSU season opener in charge of the of the most dominant FCS programs in college football history. He knew taking over for Craig Bohl (who left NDSU for Wyoming) would be no easy task, and Iowa State made sure things got off to a rocky start at first.

The Cyclones went up 14-0 before NDSU stormed back and got back to playing their signature brand of football en route to a 35-14 blowout. The win extended their win streak against FBS programs to five straight.

After the game, an emotional Klieman started his post game speech with a thank you to the players.

"I cannot thank you guys enough for the support that you've shown me and my family, and all of these new coaches that I brought here. It would have been easy to say 'Boy, it's not the same old, same old,' but you didn't."

"Remember what I told you on my first day; coaches may change, but you players don't. You know what guys? You've all bought into everything we're teaching. You bought in to the new voices."

"And you know what guys? It was the same Bison football team."

Take a look at the highlights of their 25th straight win, and catch Klieman's speech below.
