Over the past few years, college coaches in certain conferences have been able to work a loophole that allows them to work at satellite camps hosted by other programs, which is an idea that we've profiled pretty extensively.
Well Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan staff are taking that concept to the next level, hitting fertile recruiting grounds from Western Pennsylvania to Florida, to Texas, and all the way out near his old stomping grounds in California on their Summer Swarm Tour. All told, they'll work nine camps in nine different cities in nine days, and get to feast their eyes on an untold number of potential future Wolverines.
The tour includes stops in;
Indianapolis, IN
Prattville, AL
Tampa, FL
Easton, PA
Houston, TX
Grand Prairie, TX
Mission Viejo, CA
Fresno, CA
Detroit, MI
"We are excited to go across the country and teach youth football in these communities," Jim Harbaugh explained. "This is a great way for us to continue to be ambassadors for the great game of football."
Here's the slick graphic that Michigan released earlier today detailing those stops on the Summer Swarm Tour. Something tells me that caffeine will be consumed "with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind" during these nine days in June.
