This weekend, when Northwestern welcomes Wisconsin for a big tilt at Ryan Field, they'll be wearing some new graphite alternate uniforms.
Shades of gray have become all the rage when it comes to alternate uniforms, UCLA, Arizona State, Illinois, NC State, UConn, Texas Tech, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Air Force have all worn them over the past few seasons, and even Tennessee found a way to introduce them to their fan base, calling them "Smokey Gray" alternates.
Check out Northwestern's unveiling in the clip below.

Louisville and Mississippi State have also announced plans to wear new unis this weekend honoring POW/MIA soldiers and veterans as part of their Military appreciation game. These look really sharp. Maybe the best alternates of 2016.
