Dallas Cowboys: Quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson has decided to take a leave of absence to tend to person reasons. Head coach Jason Garrett told reporters today that he is unsure of when Wilson will return to the team. Wilson has coached the Cowboys quarterbacks since 2007 and played 19 seasons as an NFL quarterback.

Washington: Deb Goldstein is the new director of football operations at Washington. She previously worked at Washington and USC in support roles.

Truman State (D-II - MO): Chris Symington has been hired to coach the offensive line. Symington previously coached the offensive line at Colorado State University-Pueblo (D-II), New Mexico State and Eastern Michigan. Symington replaces Jed Paulsen who coached the offensive line for the program the past six seasons, who took a job earlier this summer with the Blue Springs (MO) School District.

Northern Michigan (D-II): NMU has hired Glenn Davis to coach the defensive backs. Davis previously coached the corners at Youngstown State.

Western Kentucky: Tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Tony Levine and quarterbacks coach Brian Brohm will serve as co-coordinators while wide receivers coach Bryan Ellis has added the title of passing game coordinator. Jeff Brohm has formally announced the addition of Ryan Beard to coach the safeties, and Chris Springer will now coach the corners while secondary coach Mike Cassity will move into an off-the-field role while he deals with a health issue. Beard spent the 2015 season coaching the secondary at Northern Michigan.

Independence CC (JC - KS): Independence Community College in the Jayhawk Conference has a volunteer assistant position that will assist with Special Teams and Video, along with coaching a position. This is an entry level position for those trying to get into the college football profession. We would like the selected candidate to have working knowledge of Hudl, and video editing. The position will be responsible for assisting a coach with a position, along with film editing, and producing highlight videos for the football program, assisting with the filming and editing of games and practices for coaches video, and other related tasks. Texas State: Preston Mason, a graduate assistant at Gardner-Webb (FCS - NC, has joined the staff as a defensive graduate assistant.
