Adidas has taken a bit of a hit in the United States, losing the NFL, the NBA, Michigan and Tennessee to Nike, and Wisconsin, Cincinnati and the nation's No. 2 retail spot to Under Armour (with whispers UCLA will follow later this year). But the Three Stripes has picked up a big win north of the border: the CFL.
Adidas is now the outfitter of Canada's brand of American football, and on Thursday the entire league unveiled its new looks.
Let's go in alphabetical order, with each team's old look on top and new on bottom:
BC Lions
Calgary Stampeders

Edmonton Eskimos

Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Montreal Alouettes

Ottawa Redblacks

Saskatchewan Roughriders

Toronto Argonauts

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

As you can see, some teams made wholesale changes while others essentially sprayed on a fresh coat of paint, but at first glance it appears every team either upgraded or stayed the same. Not bad, Adidas.
