Please join us in praying for the family of Purdue Senior Associate Director of Sports Performance Doug Davis, who has passed away. Davis was the head strength coach at Kent State previously, and also has stops at Ohio State and South Florida as an assistant.

Coffeyville CC (KS): Coffeyville CC is looking to fill offensive intern positions for our summer session in June and for the 2015 season. There is no package that comes with this position, its strictly voluntary (no Meals, no housing, no pay) However, promotions to resident assistant positions are a possibility as positions become vacant. This is an opportunity for those who want to become college coaches to gain experience working with a good college program. Film duties, practice planning, game planning, equipment, and any other duties assigned by the head coach will be tied in with this position. There will be no July session. Yet work will resume for fall camp and the 2015 season.
LA Valley College (JC - CA): Per source, the school has informed head coach Juan Navarro that they will be looking for a new head coach due to the fact that all full-time positions given to LACCD employees must go to those who hold a degree in PE or Kinesiology so they can also teach classes. We understand that the staff will remain intact and on campus through the spring semester.
Seattle Seahawks: According to multiple reports, Seattle wide receivers coach Kippy Brown is retiring and Dave Canales is expected to take over as receivers coach. Brown has spent 21 seasons in the NFL, coaching for seven different teams. Canales has been with the franchise for five seasons serving as an offensive quality control coach and assistant quarterbacks coach.
Norfolk State (FCS - VA): Per source, Norfolk State has hired Kefense Hynson to coach the wide receivers. Hynson previously served as the quarterbacks coach / co-offensive coordinator at Montana (FCS).
West Georgia (D-II): The University of West Georgia is looking to fill a defensive graduate assistant position that will work with the cornerbacks. The position will include tuition in a master's program, housing, and a stipend. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, admittance in a graduate program, college playing experience in the secondary, preferably college GA, high school coaching experience, or NFL playing experience in the secondary. Alfred State (D-III - NY): Alfred State is searching for a seasonal offensive & defensive assistant coach. This is a part-time unpaid position with housing and potential of compensation throughout the season. Responsibilities will include recruiting and coaching your own position. ASA-Miami (JC - FL): ASA-Miami is looking for a part time offensive coach. The person should have experience working with either QBs, RBs, WRs, or TEs. The position pays between $5,000 & $7500 commensurate with experience. The qualifying candidate will start as soon as possible. Responsibilities include coaching a position, and off the field responsibilities to be determined. No housing or meals will be included in the position.
