Sources: NCAA DII program adding former ACC staffer as co-offensive coordinator (ACC)

Colorado State Pueblo generated a 10-2 2024 campaign.

The ThunderWolves now are adding a former ACC staff member into a key role, FootballScoop has learned.

Neal Davis has agreed to depart Bemidji State for the role of co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at CSU Pueblo, sources tell FootballScoop.

A four-year member of Dave Clawson's Wake Forest staff, Davis also has previous experience on staff at FCS program Eastern Illinois.

During his time with the Demon Deacons, Davis -- considered among the sport's top young offensive line coaches -- climbed from the role of offensive line quality control assistant into the spot of assistant offensive line coach.

Davis in his final season at Bemidji helped the program advance into the NCAA Division II Quarterfinals for the first time in program history.

He played his collegiate ball at Findlay (Ohio), where he was the team's starting center.

CSU Pueblo is scheduled to open its 2025 slate on Thursday, Aug. 28 at home against South Dakota Mines.
