Cole Peterson's rapid rise in football is set to continue.
Sources tell FootballScoop that Peterson is joining the Philadelphia Eagles, where he will assistant to head coach Nick Sirianni.
Peterson's been UAB's executive director of football operations.
But his ascent in key off-the-field roles has been a rapid one.
At the time the youngest director of player personnel at Youngstown State just a few years ago, Peterson then landed at Indiana a top personnel role before accepting the executive director spot under Trent Dilfer at UAB.
Now, he's off to the NFL to serve as the right-hand man of Sirianni, who last month guided the Eagles to a resounding blowout-win against Kansas City in Super Bowl LIX.
Peterson was a finalist for the 2023 FootballScoop Director of Football Operations of the Year award as selected by prior winners.
