Sources tell FootballScoop App State football and receivers coach Joe Dailey have agreed to part ways as of this morning.
Sources tell FootballScoop the decision was largely a result of conversations between head coach Dowell Loggains and Dailey over how they plan to handle the offense and Dailey's receivers group.
Dailey was hired in early January as part of Loggains' initial staff at App. The former college quarterback, Dailey had coached quarterbacks at Hampton last season.
Dailey served as offensive coordinator at Liberty and New Mexico from '16-'19. He would go on to coach receivers at Boston College and for the Carolina Panthers before returning to college when he spent the 2023 season at Kansas working with Lance Leipold.
We will update when more is clear about Loggains' plan to fill the receivers role at App.
