It's been almost two weeks since news became public that Kent State had indefinitely suspended head football coach Kenni Burns, though as FootballScoop reported at that time last month Burns had been under a lengthy, all-encompassing investigation by the school.
Now, the Golden Flashes are approximately midway through spring camp without a head coach, with far more questions than answers and a roster -- already among the worst in the Mid-American Conference on the heels of an 0-12 campaign -- free to depart en masse when the spring NCAA Transfer Portal Window opens April 16.
