Larry Coker's team got it's first win last night, in front of a crowd of over 56,000 in the Alamodome.

UTSA beat DII Northeastern State 31-3. Northeastern State head coach Kenny Evans said, "For the first game in the history of the program, they did a phenomenal job. They were clicking on all cylinders."

Coker who was hired back in March 2009 to lead the program said, "I didn't really know what to expect. I know it was a lot more exciting that to be sitting on a golf course in Fort Myers, Fla."
