A coach speaks to his team after a heartbreaking loss

I was on the sidelines last week watching Vanderbilt storm back to take the lead over Ole Miss with 1:30 to play. Vanderbilt's sideline was ecstatic feeling good about their chances to close out a very hard fought win over another SEC program on the rise... Then Jeff Scott takes off around the left edge, makes a great cut and speeds 75 yards for the win. 

The Rebels celebrated an incredible win; for Vandy is was a heartbreaking loss. Both teams left it all on the field that night and each earned the respect of the other. I witnessed a number of Rebel players seek and find particular Vanderbilt players just to tell them they played a great football game.
