Baylor's quarterback
Robert Griffin III is off to a decent start.
He has led Baylor to a 3-0 start and has thrown for 13 touchdowns in those games. 13 TDs and yet only 12 incompletions.
Only 12 incompletions. That's crazy.
Yep, through 3 games, RG3 is 70 of 82 (85%) for 962 yards (11.7 yards / attempt). The 11.7 yards per attempt in 2nd in the nation as well....and yet only 12 incompletions.
Give co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks and running backs coach Philip Montgomery a lot of credit for teaching Griffin to work within their system and for tailoring the system to best utilize Griffin's strengths.
Baylor's offense is currently 3rd in the nation in scoring offense, 2nd in passing efficiency, 7th in pass offense and 15th in rushing offense.
The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Bears as they head into Big 12 play at Kansas State this weekend, then have Iowa State at home followed with trips to A&M and to Oklahoma State.
