After finding out that conditions are a little windier overseas in Dublin than they had been in South Bend this week, Brian Kelly noted that "tight balls will be rewarded"
"When it's windy conditions, tight balls are rewarded. If you throw good spirals, your going to be ok. If your mechanics are bad and you're trying to wing it and drop down sidearm, the wind will play havoc with your football."
"You're trying to remind him (the quarterback) about the conditions, and you have to be on top of your game, or the conditions can affect you."
Kelly noted that they laid off the physical demands during practice today because of the long trip, but always expects the players to be mentally sharp.
Also, talking with a reporter from Ireland, Kelly compared what fans will see tomorrow to rugby to put things in perspective for those not familiar with football.
