Dabo: Some NFL QB's would have hard time beating out Kyle Parker

As Clemson finishes summer camp under Dabo Swinney, the Clemson head coach had some high praise for quarterback Kyle Parker.

Swinney told The Post and Courier, "He could make a 53-man (NFL) roster this summer. You just don't see many guys who can process the game like he can, and can throw the football like he can. He plays 6-5."

"You turn on the TV and watch any NFL football, there's some bad quarterbacks in that league. Some bad ones. They'd have a hard time beating out Kyle Parker right here right now."

Obviously, Swinney and offensive coordinator Billy Napier are glad to have Parker return to Clemson after negotiations with the Colorado Rockies resulted in a $1.4 million signing bonus that allows Parker to play his sophomore season in football.

Clemson opens with North Texas on September 2nd.
