Remember when weeknight football used to be something of a novelty, and only on Thursdays? Doesn't that feel like 75 years ago?

ESPN announced Wednesday its schedule of 69 weeknight games for the 2013 college football season. The slate begins with 15 games on a five-day opening weekend (including 10 on Thursday night) and runs through Friday, Dec. 6 with the MAC Championship.

Speaking of the MAC, the Worldwide Leader will show 14 games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights this fall, the majority of which involve everyone's favorite weeknight viewing option. November will especially feature a double dose of #MACtion, with at least one MAC game on all but on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

All 10 conferences will be represented on weeknight broadcasts, plus BYU and Navy. Oregon at Stanford on Thursday, Nov. 7 appears to be the highlight of the schedule as we sit on the last day of July, but North Carolina at South Carolina, TCU at Texas Tech, Boise State at Fresno State, Miami at North Carolina and Louisville at Cincinnati get the juices flowing as well.
