Franklin: The change in perception is what I'm most proud of

James Franklin's list of accomplishments in just two seasons as the head coach at Vanderbilt is substantial. They ended the year on a seven game win streak, won a total of nine games on the year, and carry the longest winning streak in the SEC into next season.

But as Franklin told listeners on the Tim Brando Show earlier today, he's most proud of the changed perception of Vanderbilt locally, and nationally. It shows just as much on the recruiting trail talking with coaches as it does in the stands on game day and on a regular basis in the Nashville community.

Any coach that has went in and turned around a program knows that's one of the greatest feelings in the world, and likely shares the same sentiment.
