George O'Leary takes advantage of indoor practice facility

The only program in the state of Florida to have an indoor practice facility is UCF.

On Saturday, when the rains came, George O’Leary moved practice inside for the first time.

“I was annoyed,” O’Leary said. “I was saying, `It better rain’ because I came in and the sun was out. I said, `You’re sure it’s going to rain?’ And it came down pretty good, so it was a good choice to come in.”

“It’s nice to have this facility. If we didn’t have it, we would have been out there. And if lightning comes, we would have been delaying practice. So it worked out really well.”

UCF will host South Dakota and NC State to begin the season. The Golden Knights then travel to Buffalo and Kanas State before conference play begins.
