In years past, Oregon's offensive staff has done an impressive job finding ways to utilize a unique player's entire skill set by lining him up at multiple positions.
Chip Kelly touched on how they go about coaching that during his press conference yesterday.
Kelly noted that in their offense it is important to maximize their coaches, which is why he takes the hybrid position players during individual position meetings.
"We try to maximize our coaches so that we don't have a kid that has to go the wide receivers meeting for 15 minutes and then run over to the running back meeting for 15 minutes." Kelly explained.
