After his first season as the co - offensive coordinator with the Hoosiers, Kevin Johns took some time to reflect.
Johns said that the coaching staff couldn't ask any more from the Bloomington community, and "now it's our job to win games". Johns added that he was excited to have the opportunity to be reunited with head Coach Kevin Wilson.
"It has been fun. I worked with him at Northwestern. To see how he has changed through his time at Oklahoma with Coach Stoops and to see him in a different role was part of the reason I came down here and made this move. I wanted to watch him become a head coach, take over a program and work to get it to the top of the Big Ten. Everyday we are learning and excited about the future and what our kids bring to the table. We, as a staff, are all growing each day professionally, learning to work together, building a team and building a family."
Indiana struggled this season and will look to start things off on the right foot when they open up next season against Indiana State in Bloomington.
